Since the review we were offered free lunch which was sharing boards and few bottles of wine. Service again was great! It’s just a shame they didn’t deliver the first time but they’ve taken actions to compensate us which is nice!

Very disappointing Xmas lunch with my team. The food was just below average. The soup was watery pumpkin that went down in 15 spoons. The bread was 1 slice cut in two and just meh - no butter btw. The main - Turkey roast had 2 potatoes - my friend had one. My other friend had so many brussels sprouts I had 3 - Just laughable. The meat was dry, the carrots (3 of them) were undercooked. The veggie wellington was on a bed of sprouts only and it wasn't much either.. They knew they did bad as they brought 4 portions of chips for 14 people.. This costed us £27 for 2 meals or £32 for 3..£27!!! no glass on arrival either. don't get the poached pear desert - it's a tiny pear with some whipped cream on side which is just sad. Save your pennies and go to Pizza Union and bring it back to the office. Not going back there for any meal. positives - the staff was friendly and there were xmas crackers and lucky vouchers for some people to win desert or a pint - but...

After such a bad and disappointing experience, we've been invited back. And let me tell you. It was amazing ! You could definitely see the difference. They had enough staff and they were paying attention to everyone. Our waiter Andres was amazing and really paying attention to all our needs. He was even cracking jokes ! This time we actually got a look at the menu (food/drinks). Such a nice menu with plenty of choices. Burgers were good, beers were good and wine was good ! If the service is like this most nights then you are sure to have a good time ! I recommend. Gracias Andres otra vez !

Completely rubbish ! If I could put 0 stars I would do it. We were waiting for ages for someone to come and see us as we couldn't order from the table with the QR code because we couldn't really understand what number was written. Then when asking the waiter for the table number we were told it was 66 ??? On the picture I can see everything BUT number 66. When we finally managed to talk to the waiter after 30 mins he said he'd take care of us and will bring us the food menu. Food menu never came after waiting over 40 minutes. Not worth it. I definitely do not recommend and will not come back. Waste of time and...

I pop in at this pub quite frequently for a pint and/or a bite to eat when walking my dog. It's a great location and there's always a bit of a buzz. Popped in today for a glass of wine. I decided to have a second, and after the manager had served the table next to me (a table of 8) I asked him if I could have another. I didn't feel it would be too much of an inconvenience as he was serving the other table, but I was told that I could only order at the bar (even though there were only 2 tables occupied, myself and the group next to me). I questioned him as to why they could order at the table and was told that because I was on my own and not eating (I had actually planned to get lunch) he wouldn't serve me. When I told him that I didn't think that was particularly good service and that I was a regular, he sneeringly told me that it's a free country and that I was welcome to go elsewhere if I didn't like it. In future I will. And recommend anyone else do the same. This person does not represent the group that owns this pub very well and he is extremely rude. I...
