Two Brewers — Restaurant in London

Went there for the final England vs Italy. First of all we booked a table for 19:45 for 6 people, on the same morning the pub called me to confirm my attendance which I did and informed me that the table was now booked for 19:30. We arrived there at 19:40 and the girl standing outside smoking a cigarette told us with no manner that they were fully booked. I explained that I had a booking at 19:30 and she just replied "well, you are 15 minutes late". Thankfully I had a confirmation text and somehow she found us a bar (not a table) for 4, even if my booking was for 6! My friend and I had a really nice time, the other two waitresses were really polite and attentive. At the end of the night we were the only table there (we were all Italians and waiting for the Italian team to get the cup), we were seated at one table in front of the screen watching it and all of a sudden the sound went on mute and the same girl that "greeted" us at our arrival appeared switched the TV off and told us "we are closing". I found her behavior extremely rude, I totally understand they were closing and they might have been tired too, however her attitude was inexcusable! Me and my family had come to have some food and drinks after coming back from south bank on Sunday 1st December Upon arrival we have sat down at the available table that was their which was wet and dirty I have gone up to the bar to ask them to clean which I had to wait for 2 minutes to even speak to the bar man as he was to busy having a normal conversation with someone else. Once he has managed to come and clean we have gone up to the bar and ordered the drinks and also a portion of onion rings. 30 minutes later we decided that we wanted to have some food which I tried to order but the bar man has said that the kitchen has closed even though this was at 8:20pm I questioned him in regards what time does the kitchen closes and he has stated that if their isn’t many people even though their was 4 of us and plus a lot of other people around that they will close the kitchen before 9pm even though the kitchen is suppose to close down at 9pm we have left the bar very very disappointed and the service was...

I came to London to work for the day and we went here for evening drinks (we didn’t have food). We had a lovely evening, the atmosphere was great and the staff were lovely.

Once I got to the train station to leave I noticed that I was missing my purse which I remember having out in the pub. I rang through to the pub in a panic and they told me they had it and they would send it back to me the next day. Two days later the purse arrived at my door safely. I am so grateful to the staff for not only being so vigilant in finding it but for their great communication and general pro-active nature in getting it back to me. There was no hesitation, no stress and no questions asked when I explained my situation.
