I went into the store around 19:35, 25 minutes before closing on the 8th of May. The staff were very friendly since I entered, with no sign of rushing customers out or mentioning the store hours (sometimes quite off-putting). I leisurely made my purchase by 19:48, including the staff looking for a suitcase in the stockroom.
After I'd left and got to the tube station, I realised I'd forgotten my phone at the shop while packing things into the suitcase. So I rushed back, hoping they'd found it, but worried they'd been closed already.
I rushed back at 20:05, 5 minutes after their opening hours and was SO glad to be greeted by the staff waiting by the door holding my phone, saying we found it with a lovely smile. It was such a relief and heart-warming experience, not only to have not lost my phone, but also to be treated with great customer service after a long work day, being slightly stressed out before a trip.
Needless to say, I was very pleased with my Muji suitcase. It was easy to wheel around, even rushing through the crowd on busy Oxford Street.
Thank you to everyone working at the store on the day; you all...

Read moreI've been to most muji stores in London but this store in particular has terrible customer service. One male staff was incredibly rude. When I went to the till to buy some products, he didn't greet me at all and instead carried on talking gossip with another employee while scanning the products. I then asked if they sold any safety pins and he gave me a look as if it were a stupid question and just said 'No.' After I paid the products, he left the scanned products near him scattered and didn't bother to hand them to me, so I had to reach over the large till desk and collect the goods I purchased. All the while he continued to gossip with another employee. Of course he didn't ask if I wanted a bag. A pretty shocking customer experience...won't be visiting this muji...
