Yummzy — Restaurant in London

I am so so glad this place exists and that it is both keto and vegan - so many keto desserts and baked goods have dairy and eggs, which many people are allergic or intolerant of especially if doing keto for health reasons /to manage illness. I will continue coming here because businesses like this are so rare but so needed and appreciated. Got the tiramisu and caramel cupcake. I also wish the almond milk used was cleaner (just almonds and water) but the brand used has additives unfortunately so I couldn’t try the drink

*edited to add that have since been back to Yummzy multiple times and honestly cannot speak more highly of this cafe/bakery. The staff are the nicest and you can just see and feel how genuinely passionate the owners are about the amazing food they’ve created. which is genuinely delicious - and not just for being “vegan” “gluten free” or “keto” it is just delicious regardless (and I can still remember how it use to be to be able to eat anything I wanted before I had to change my diet for life/strictly for health reasons - I don’t feel deprived.)

But more than anything I am so grateful there is a place that caters to people who have to follow strict diets because we can feel normal for once and enjoy eating out which is rare when you have food intolerances or dietary requirements. I can’t eat dairy, eggs, grains, seed oils, gluten, sugar or wheat and I can eat pretty much most things here - it had really opened up my world of having to follow an extremely limited diet being and being able to enjoy a treat out.

Also - they do keto and vegan clean ingredient ice cream - there is NO where else like this anywhere, for this alone Yummzy gets 10/10. I’ve tried the pistachio and chocolate ice cream and they were so good, I haven’t been able to have ice cream in 3 years…!

Visited this cafe recently opposite South Colonnade road/exit in Canary Wharf. As a Coeliac I was really glad to see GF on the window, plus vegan as a lot of us can not tolerate dairy. Was intrigued as stated no sugar, most GF food has far too much, and keto which I did not really know about.

Really spacious cafe with nice lighting, friendly helpful staff that guided me through everything they had on offer. Liked that they had a stand with unusual GF snacks/produce that had not seen before.

Had a good drinks menu with various teas, coffees, shots and a wide range of cakes and savoury items.

I went for the the Maple Pecan & Yummzy Rocher. As a Coeliac we can't have Ferrero Rocher which I do miss, so I was excited about this version especially as you get to unwrap as well, adding to the experience. Amazing flavours and quality shone through, the other ones we can't have are pure rubbish in comparison. The Maple Pecan was nutty, nice gentle maple & pecan that did not overpower like you get sometimes, all the flavours complemented each other really well, and was so yummy!!!
