Came around July early August, I've asked for a pizza take away ( I know their pizzas as at work we used to order from them sadly not anymore) the blond young guy member of staff told me "we don't do pizza here" I was shocked as it is a big poster displaying a pizza and prices... frustrated I've asked a waitress who wasn't aware that I already tried to order, so she told: "yes we do serve pizzas here... just go at the counter and asked my colleague and he will take your order" ... so I went there again spoke with him and explain that the waitress just told me you still serving (as I assuming because was around 20:40) and he again told me " We don't do pizzas" and he went at the kitchen left me there hanging, avoiding me, so I went again to look if perhaps I was tripping and made a mistake, I went back to the entrance door not only saw the poster but two customers came in with two boxes of pizzas take away and told the same blond guy (member of staff) that one of their pizzas order were wrong.
At that point I was not only frustrated but angry because I've been deliberately discriminated (for no reason since i've been polite) honestly I never felt so disrespect, as obviously I would pay for the food, so I went back to the waitress explained what happened and I told her that her colleague just feel to not serve me because there is pizzas for everybody else but not for me!! I left in state of disbelief I couldnt belive what just happened !! Wasn't even busy or late I wasn't rude so what's the plausible excuse for no service???
I left to never come back, I don't create a scene I simply don't ever return to spend money at same place where ive been mistreated, and I just leaving the review now, because even if this particular member of staff was beyond rude and horrible in that very day, I cannot replicate same behaviour, and god knows, didn't want to be the reason of someone lose their job and since I haven't seem him there for quite a while I guess he left... (I pass in front almost everyday as its my way to work), however the emotional damaged cannot be repared, that pick and choose situation made me feel I was worthless, discriminated, I don't know... hard to explain the emotions I experienced in that occasion... but for sure I will always remember that day and the way I felt and will always have that sour taste, thankfully canary wharf has plenty of...
Read moreOnce upon a time, in the bustling city of London, there existed a magical place called Cafe Brera in Cabot Place. It was a charming little cafe that seemed straight out of a fairy tale. One fine spring day, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the people strolled by in their delightful dresses and shorts, filling the air with a sense of joy and anticipation.
As I stepped into Cafe Brera, I was immediately enchanted by its beautiful decor. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of class and modernity, adorned with bright, warm colors that perfectly complemented the vibrant season. It was as if the cafe itself had caught a bit of the springtime magic, wrapping its customers in a cocoon of loveliness.
Now, as with any fairy tale, there were a few twists and turns along the way. On this particular day, the cafe seemed to be understaffed, with only two brave waiters navigating their way through a sea of hungry patrons. Despite the challenge they faced, they managed to hold their ground and provide decent service to the many different customers who sought their assistance. It was a valiant effort, indeed!
When it came time to feast upon the delectable offerings of Cafe Brera, I decided to try their toasted panini. The description of its filling—omelette, nduja, parmesan, and rocket—made my taste buds dance with anticipation. Alas, while the filling was a delightful medley of flavors, the bread itself proved to be quite the formidable foe. It was as tough as a knight's armor, making it a challenging task to conquer this panini. Oh, how I wished for a softer, more delicate bread to complement the marvelous ingredients within!
Meanwhile, my wife, seeking her own epicurean adventure, opted for the carbonara eggs Benedict. And what a delightful choice it was! The carbonara sauce danced upon her taste buds, while the eggs, in their bright orange glory, brought a sunny disposition to the dish. It was a true triumph of flavors, a tale of taste that left her enchanted.
In the end, our visit to Cafe Brera in Cabot Place was a pleasant Sunday afternoon treat....

I recently visited this establishment, and it's hard to believe it's still operating with the level of service I experienced. I arrived at 11 a.m., was asked to sit wherever I liked, and then waited nearly 10 minutes without anyone even offering me a menu. Eventually, I had to approach a staff member to get one. After more waiting, I had to call someone over to take my order.
I specifically asked if the restaurant could substitute beef sausages in the Full English Breakfast since the menu stated that both beef and chicken were Halal. The waitress went to the kitchen and confirmed that this was possible, so I placed my order: a Full English Breakfast with beef sausages and turkey bacon, along with sourdough bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Once the order was taken, it was as if I no longer existed. Staff members passed by without any acknowledgment. My coffee arrived, followed by the sourdough bread, but without the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I had to ask for it, only to be met with a response implying it was optional—even though it was clearly listed on the menu.
An hour later, after several reminders, the Full English Breakfast finally arrived—but it wasn't what I ordered. To make matters worse, the manager then informed me that they don't actually serve Halal beef or chicken, despite what was stated on the menu and the earlier confirmation from the waitress.
By this point, I had had enough and decided to leave. The entire experience was chaotic, frustrating, and insulting. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I won't...
