Extremely Racist Behaviour by staff. My friend and I had visited your establishment, and the bar was about to be shut in a few minutes. The security person came upstairs and started shouting at us, asking us to leave. He did not shout at the other groups of people sitting next to us. However, we obliged and went downstairs. My friend had not completed his drink and had asked if he could get a plastic cup instead to pour the remainder of his drink. This individual rudely demanded that my friend chug down his drink and leave immediately. My friend and I walked to the nearest table and started to finish the drink and this person stood next to us warning us that if we did not leave in the next one minute, it would be problematic. But then, we noticed that there were three other tables who were similarly asked to come downstairs to finish their drink. My friend politely asked this individual, as to why the other tables were not being asked to leave instantly. He ignored my friend and continued to harass us by standing very close to my friend in an attempt to intimidate him. We asked him again politely to let us complete the drink. Instead, he continued to pressure us. Later, a kind English couple who were sitting next to us took notice of his behaviour and warned him to instantly back off, while stating that his actions were clearly unacceptable. They asked him why we were being treated differently, while they were allowed alongside the other two tables to finish their drinks. Initially this individual ignored them, but later took notice of their warnings and backed off. However, he still kept sitting at the end of our table, while continuing to allow the other three tables next to us to peacefully finish their drinks. It was clear that he was projecting his anger towards us for no apparent reason, as the club had not yet closed. This incident occurred on the night of 30th April 2023, just before midnight. We believe that he was targeting us, as we were the only individuals present at that time who were of South Asian descent. This incident has left us feeling extremely hurt and never wanting to come back, as we had an amazing night at your establishment just prior to this incident. We are certain that had it not been for the intervention of the couple next to us, we would have faced uncalled humiliation at the hands of this ill-tempered employee of yours. Unfortunately we did not notice any identification on him, which would have otherwise helped us identify this individual in this review. I sincerely hope that the management takes cognizance of this matter to deal with the individual responsible for such crude and open display of racist behaviour, as this is not acceptable in a modern, diverse and multicultural society like London and not typical of an otherwise well managed...

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my wife Chantelle’s birthday at Electric Shuffle Canary Wharf and the evening turned out to be truly unforgettable thanks to one exceptional member of the team.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and a huge smile, instantly setting a celebratory tone that carried through the night. Despite the lively crowd, we were given undivided attention, made to feel like VIPs, and most importantly, Chantelle was made to feel incredibly special on her big day.
This team member wasn’t just serving drinks they were a cocktail artist and a remarkable host. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they even went off-menu to create custom drinks based on our preferences. Each one was beautifully crafted, full of flavour, and clearly made with passion. You could tell they truly love what they do, and that enthusiasm showed in every interaction.
What made the experience stand out most was the personal touch. They remembered our names, asked about the occasion, and even created a fun, celebratory moment just for Chantelle. In a busy venue like this, that kind of thoughtful, attentive service is rare yet it was delivered effortlessly and with genuine charm.
We also noticed how consistently they treated other guests with the same energy, professionalism, and care. Their attention to detail, upbeat presence, and welcoming nature brought a special energy to the venue that’s hard to put into words but impossible to forget.
In a place already known for its vibrant atmosphere and fun concept, this team member was truly the highlight of the night. They helped turn a great evening into an incredible birthday memory.
To the management: you’ve got a star on your hands This person represents the very best of what hospitality should be. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be recommending Electric Shuffle to everyone we know.
Thank you again — for making Chantelle’s birthday so...
Read moreInsane music volume!
A group of us went to the venue in Canary Wharf last night and overall, had a good time. BUT... the music volume in the venue is off the scale; I mean it's up at the kind of level that the US military use to make hostages go mad before resorting to waterboarding!
There was no escape from it either (apart from hiding in a toilet cubicle) as there are speakers aimed at you from every conceivable angle and even in every corner. I work as a DJ, so I have a decibel monitor on my phone and it was ranging from 90 to over 100 dB. That's the kind of level that, even after short periods of exposure, can cause permanent hearing damage.
I would have thought the staff would have a legal claim against the owners for negligence if they had a mind to; well, what's left of their minds after having their grey matter blown away by Dua Lipa in the style of a pneumatic jackhammer.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not a anti-volume warrior, I happen to love loud music; I'm even partially deaf because of it. But this was crazy, and especially so as it's a place for social gatherings - it's not like a concert where you can take the edge off with ear plugs. Ear plugs don't work when you want to be able to talk to your friends while you're playing too.
To be fair, I spoke to one of the managers (well, actually shouted in his ear...) and he did turn the volume down for a while. But of course it was turned up again later.
And all this is a shame because the games are great fun and it's brilliantly organised and laid out. The food, the service and even the pricing of everything (for a central London venue) was actually very good. But I doubt I would go back unless we could furnish our whole party with helmets kitted out with integrated condenser microphones and...
