Al Baraka Shawarma — Restaurant in Manchester

I have been going to this place for years for £3 you get delicious chicken Sharwarma in medium sized oven baked naan bread. Friendly staff expect for ONE member of staff who is very rude to some customers. This guy is the youngest compared to other members of the team and has now dyed beard is new as 5 years ago this place had mature staff. This lad has a habit of demanding advance payment from customers who are not middle eastern or Pakistani before he can prepare their order. if you insist on paying when your order is done he refuses to serve you and turns his back on you and starts complaining in Panjabi to his workmates…I have observed this because he is only one I have had this problem with when he is on duty. The funny thing is that there will be a customer in the shop when you enter who has not paid in advance and is waiting for their order. Faced a rude behaviour by one of the new staff members. When I tried to order, the server gave me the card machine. I tried with tapping first (the contactless way). It didn’t go through. Then he (himself) inserted my card in the machine - not all the way through inside. He had the arrogance to assume and TOLD ME that I had “no money”. I insisted, he inserted the card properly this time and the payment went through.

He assured me that there was the mixture of salads and sauces - I came home and realised none of the items were present with my fatayer. He basically LIED to me.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE:

The don't even deserve one start the the way that old man reacted with us.

The food they gave was nice but the person who dealt with us was really very rude, we had an unbelievable experience.

The man with almost no hairs, I told him we want a chicken shawarma burger, but I don't know what he understood and he charged more money + when I cleared with him the dish I wanted he got really mad at us and very angry and spoke with a very bad manner and returned rest of our money like we owe money from him, he just through the money in the air like a flying.
