Me and my friend ordered and iced matcha with oat milk and vanilla syrup. The first time it was correct however there were chunks of matcha power in the drink and when we asked for a remake the manager said that's how it's supposed to be (being a barista I know for a fact matcha is not supposed to be lumpy) she was shaking the cup around with the chunks clearly floating around we asked for them to make again. the second remake they used coconut milk so again we asked for a remake and the 3rd remake was even lumpier than the first and they forgot the syrup. I don't complain often but £5 for a drink nobody can make correctly is very frustrating considering it happened to both of us with 6 incorrect drinks you have to now waste. Please learn how to make matcha correctly or offer a refund rather than giving us progressively worse drinks. The barista was very shy however the managers attitude to this mistake was to shift the blame to us. Will be sticking to Starbucks...
Read moreI went with my friend and we both ordered an iced matcha latte with OAT and vanilla syrup. These were £5 each so you would expect standards to be met. However the first time the matcha was so clumpy and undrinkable that we asked for a remake. The supervisor then came back over and told us the drinks are fine they just needed to be mixed and started swirling them around and tried to give them back to us. I pointed out that all she did was make the clumps swirl around and it made no difference. So they remade the drinks but this time with COCONUT milk. This is not allergy conscious at all and luckily the oat milk was just preference. So we asked for a third time for our drinks to be made correctly. this time they didn’t add the vanilla syrup we had payed extra for and it was just as clumpy as the first time. We didn’t even bother complaining again and just threw them away. I wish we had asked for a refund because the drinks and service we payed for...

Ordered a cinnamon swirl take away. Several hours later after a gruelling rail replacement bus journey home I found I was given a pain aux raisin.
A PAIN AUX RAISIN INSTEAD OF A CINNAMON SWIRL.
It will take many moons to recover from this ineptitude... this betrayal
Edit: after getting home I had a nap and upon waking thought I'd eat this pastry anyway (it was the only sweet food in the house).
I have to admit it was actually quite tasty and I recognise I was being overly emotional and dramatic in my prior review.
Don't get me wrong... a pain aux raisin is not on the same tier as a cinnamon swirl. Not by a long shot.
However, to honour this new found revelation I have updated my review score to more accurately reflect the...
