Nawroz Restaurant — Restaurant in Plymouth

I am one of the regular customer before when my office was around there. To be honest, the food is very nice and staff is okay.

I went back today as they are on the list for Eat out and Help out scheme. They changed the menu and the meal. They have taken the soup (like potato soup) out of the main dish and also put the price up(even with the VAT reeducation). The lamb we ordered was not cooked properly. It is really rare!!! We showed it to staff but he did not do anything!!!!!!!!

In the end, We pay the bill with FULL PRICE even they are one the EAT OUT HELP OUT SCHEME LIST! The staff denied they are on the list even I get confirmed when I get into the door! It is the same Person!!! and I checked the scheme list again, Nawroz is on the list!!!!!!

NOW THEY TAKE CARDS !!!! 👏👏👏👏 Love this little place. I often get nanbread here(which is made fresh! The only place in Plymouth that does that as far as I know). The only issue I have is that the place looks ran down. I use to help with business development in several restaurants and takeaways, and it is a picture I saw often. The tables are too crammed and they saw better day. Room is loud and dark. Till area could do with some work. I think with some investment this place could expand market massively and even franchise! They have good food, good hygiene, simple menue, fab staff, just needs some TLC to bring it out of 1995...

We visited Newroz Restaurant in Plymouth as a family of five after seeing our uncle at Derriford Hospital, and we were so glad we chose this place for dinner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious — full of rich, authentic flavors that really impressed us. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were for our group. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal together.
