The prawn tempura was crispy. The blossom salmon and scallop sushi were fresh and delicious. I think the soy sauce is too salty so I need to add much wasabi to make it less salty. The dragon roll (prawn with salmon roll) was huge and the fried prawn inside is still very crispy and warm. This is very impressive and I saw many customers order this as well. The pork chop rice with egg was just okay. Miso salmon soup and lemon tea were okay as its only £1. There is 10% service charge for this restaurant for the dinner but I am not sure if lunch is same or not. If you love sushi and sashimi, this is the best restaurant among Manchester or Bolton right now. However, the parking may not be very easy for lunch on weekdays. Really great experience at Aomori! We came as a group of five and ordered quite a lot everything came out quickly, nothing was missed, and the presentation was very good. Food was tasty, fresh, and definitely value for money.

The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. It honestly felt a bit like being back in Asia, very authentic and welcoming.

For someone who might have a certain standard about food, this place is impressive, the price is reasonable, and most importantly, it’s not some “fusion sushi” made for Western taste, but proper, authentic Japanese food.
