Would like to start off the say we were excited to try this place out after seeing videos and reels so decided to give it a go. However our experience wasn’t the best. First off we walked in and the staff looked at us confused and inattentive especially the male staff, no greeting or nothing, even one of the staff(or customers chatting a chef?) gave us a side eye and just kept staring at us without saying anything, so we just proceeded to find a seat which wasn’t a great start... We made our order and decided to change one of the cold drinks to the hot one, the server told us there would be a difference in costs so was expecting a refund in which the server asked another how to do this, but they replied just leave it so that didn’t leave the best impression on us either.. Food arrived, turns out the server got our order wrong which is fine as these things happen and gave us a refund. We ordered a banana milkshake, a coffee and 2 meals but sadly the milkshake was incredibly bland which is surprising for a banana milkshake. The meals were incredibly overpriced, I’m paying £9 for a chicken wrap which i can get elsewhere for half, even a quarter of the price and the portions or quality weren’t a saving grace for the price set either. The extra dish they refunded us for was also £14.50, which was just mushrooms and a sausage patty on bread and was very greasy which I can’t justify the cost for either. Overall, at least I tried the place but would say there’s a huge room for improvement with the food, pricing and customer service here and I know the staff I saw on my visit doesn’t paint the full picture of how great the other staff may be. The cafe is in a great location but sadly I won’t be going again.

Good coffee, nice location with outdoor seating, helpful staff. Unfortunately I was pretty let down by the food. I ordered the Leo Stack, the menu just said "egg" and I guess I should've asked how the egg was served because I think fried or scrambled in a ring would make more sense here. Either way, if you're not going to poach a traditional runny/soft poached egg it should probably be mentioned somewhere. The egg yolk was *way* overcooked, like a soft boiled egg. When I asked the server, they gladly offered to replace it with a runny one, and quickly brought it out for me, but unfortunately that one was undercooked and the whites were snotty. Yuck. I saw another table replace an egg too so I don't think this was a one-off. The crumpet itself was quite nice, soft and fluffy if maybe a bit too thick. The sausage patty was good too, as was the chutney, but without that soft runny egg yolk it was all frankly on the dry side. The addition of halloumi for £3 was way overpriced for 2 little slices of halloumi. I regret not getting the smashed avocado instead. I'd consider coming back for coffee but would definitely not order anything with eggs here again.

Visited with my mother during a visit into Manchester, after seeing lots of good reviews and recommendations on tiktok we decided to try it. It wasn’t very busy during the week when we visited. We ordered some coffees to start which were very very good. For food we order a mushroom + poached egg on toast and some sort of salmon pinsa bread. The food took quite a while to come so the mushroom toast was slightly cold when it arrived. The food however was very good just the wait was a little disappointing. The interior was very nice and makes a little hidden gem in the busy city.

Might be a good place for socials

Little choice of pastry whilst staff is not eager to introduce, still fine if they are super busy doing good food and drinks (tho the space was only like 70% filled and they got around 2-3 staff to cover on each duty)

However, overpriced as in: the pastry was sold at £4 upon the opening while it's now £4.5, but the quality is the same as what you can get in Aldi/Lidl. The pain au chocolat is just not buttery and with only a few chocolate chips inside.

Long black (R) = expresso + water Long black (L) = expresso + massive water!! *PS: the takeaway cup is awfully soft that you can barely hold it in order not to squeeze the lip out of the cup.

i.e. Might be a good place for socials if you don't care about how aggressive they are craving...
