We were welcomed very warmly by the host and seated at a nice big table for our group of 8. The location is great and lots of car parking. Seemed like a good location for dining with kids. Overall it was a very average dining experience. Most of the chips/fries were served lukewarm and the side salad accompanying my steak was all wilted, as if it had been sitting on the pass for a while. The steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious. But man was it a bummer when it came to desserts. My first and second choices were not available, so I opted for the apple pie. What a let down. The server apologised for the presentation due to ‘it just coming out of the microwave’! If you are going to microwave food, please don’t tell me. The pie looked as if it had been dropped and put back on the plate. It tasted like an Aunty Betty’s commercial dessert rather than something homemade. In hindsight I wish I had sent it back, it wasn’t worth the £6. My little cousin ended up eating what I couldn’t.

Visited for my daughters birthday. On arrival you could not see bar for dirty glasses. Place was half empty but we were seated near the door with air conditioning blasting cold air down on us. Reported it twice and told they had switched it off when they clearly hadn't. Had to keep our coats on throughout meal. Very difficult to get hold of a member of staff, food was served quite promptly. Lamb cutlets were delicious but lamb burger was disgusting. We're given wrong drinks to start with and ordered bottemless but couldn't get a waitress to refill them. Did get discount on my bill and a dose of the flu with severe chest infection. Was in bed for a week after. Do not recommend, tables not cleared promptly, staff different everytime they came out so didn't know what you had asked for. Place is freezing but food was OK.

If you're looking for a restaurant that never changes and food you can count everytime: Beefeater Dundee is definitely the place you want to be. They have a wide variety of chargrilled favourites, seating with views over the Tay and the best staff you could ever ask for: Stuart, Daniel, Lily & Brodie to name a few, they will all welcome you with open arms and make your meal one to remember, nothing is too big or small for them. You might just think Beefeater is a chain restaurant but the food is second is none, perfect every time and at an affordable price (if you subscribe to their rewards program, you can get weekly discount codes)... but you didn't hear that from me!

We visited for lunch on a Sunday. Two adults and 2 toddlers. We were given a great table away from other tables with lots of room for buggies and highchairs. This was greatly appreciated. We had a lovely view of the Tay as well. The food was good. It arrived quickly. I enjoyed my fish and chunky chips. I also had a Tiramisu iced coffee which was delicious. The food and drinks menus are extensive. So is the kids menu. All quite reasonably priced. There's a car park right in front of the restaurant. Toilets are in the 1st floor. The baby change and disabled toilet are beside the main door. The accept Blue Light Cards and you can get 25% off your bill.

Surprisingly good! Wasn’t expecting much but the food was actually very tasty. I popped in on a Sunday and had the ultimate roast which comes with chicken lamb and beef. The beef was a bit overdone for my taste but the chicken was delicious, as were the trimmings. Portion was absolutely massive and I’m ashamed to say it’s the first time I’ve not managed to finish a roast. It cost about £17 so excellent value for money. Service was a little slow but they were training a new person so that can be forgiven. Has beautiful views out over the Tay. Parking is free for 3 hours but you need to enter your license plate on the computer at the bar.
