I recently booked a booth at revolucion de cuba for a surprise party and it truly could not have been a better evening.
I initially called up the venue and spoke with Jake a few weeks prior and gave some details of the numbers attending which was around 20 people.
Jake suggested we go for a booth which was £350 but the money could be used for various drinks packages or a tab on the night. He was extremely helpful and booking was very easy.
I settled the full amount a few days before the party and spoke with Kane. Again, he could not have been more helpful and told me to ask for him when I arrived and he would sort out all of our drinks etc.
The booth was fantastic and the atmosphere in the venue was just buzzing. Drinks were exceptional and I would say very reasonably priced for the quality. The place was packed but it didn't feel cramped at all and I was never waiting very long at the bar at all.
Absolutely everyone had a fantastic evening. We had originally booked for 20 but in the end around 30 were there and the booth and small table next to it was plenty of room for us all.
The band and entertainment were also a great addition to the evening.
I can't thank this place enough for making it a truly memorable evening. I will absolutely book here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great venue for a birthday or celebration or just a good night out.
Thanks again to Jake, Kane, and the rest of the...
Read moreI recently visited Revolución de Cuba Glasgow and was absolutely blown away by the experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, perfect for unwinding after a long week or catching up with friends.
The selection of drinks was impressive, with a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines to choose from. The bartenders were true mixologists, creating delicious and inventive drinks.
The food menu was equally impressive, featuring a variety of mouthwatering options that perfectly complemented the drinks. Whether you're craving small bites to share or a meal, there's something for everyone.
What truly set Revolución de Cuba Glasgow apart was the atmosphere. It felt like more than just a place to grab a drink; it was a community hub where people gathered to connect, laugh, and create memories. The music added an extra layer of excitement, turning an ordinary night out into an unforgettable experience.
Overall, I can't recommend Revolución de Cuba Glasgow enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink. You won't be...
Read moreI was soooooooo disappointed with the food, the restaurant and decor is nice, the music is cool, but the staff that we came across were diabolically unhelpful and my husband's paella tasted like uncle Ben's rice stir fried with a bit of chicken. I told the waitress it was poor and there was no response from anyone. Surely a Latin American restaurant should do a good paella at the very least. My pulled beef was better but still a bit mediocre. My cocktail, a strawberry daiquiri, was nice but I could hardly taste any rum. I love Cuban food and I wanted to take a big group of my friends to the restaurant. Now, I wouldn't as the food was below average at best and the service was also very basic. The paella was also in a tiny dish like a starter portion but it cost 12 pounds, definitely it was one sachet of uncle Ben's, not a paella made from scratch in the kitchen. Conclusion, my husband and I will not be back and we would not invite our friends to eat mediocre food! The service for city centre in Glasgow was below average. Normally we tip generously but we both felt that neither the food nor the service merited it....
