They have recently renovated the bar which is ok, however, the gents toilets are disgusting! The cubicle walls are falling off meaning it's difficult to lock, and there is a hole in the ceiling with the smoke detector cap falling off above your head! No lighting either, simply rank (see photo). The best thing about it is the outdoor courtyard which is rare to find in Glasgow.

Cool no nonsense bar just off of Buchanan St in the City Centre. Small outside terrace with 4 tables for the smokers. Popular with students for the ‘Test Tube Shots’ which look a total waste of money my when you see what goes into them. Great selection of draught beers and the food looks decent too.

This place is awesome. Nearly forgot it was here as it is tucked away, but every single time I've been it's packed with people, which says a lot about a pub located on a side street. Picture is the delicious tray of test tube shots they offer which are lethal, delicious and amazing value for money.

My friend and I went in to have a drink. The man at the bar SHOUTED at us angrily and told us that they were shut. I have never felt so insulted and belittled in my life. After that, my friend, who has a medical pass, asked to use the toilet and yet again, infront of all the customers still drinking in the bar, this man, yelled at my friend and told her she couldn’t use the toilet. I have never felt so unwelcome and insulted in my life. The man had glasses and short dark hair, he must have been a supervisor or someone with authority to speak to us the way he did. Will not be back! No offence to the rest of the staff who seemed like lovely people. I just feel bad for them that they have such stinking management ! I would completely understand if they were shut and politely declined us, but this was the rudest encounter I have...

I visited The LAB on a Friday lunchtime as part of a table of seven. We'd booked in advance and it proved to be a good move as the bar was busy, with most tables taken when we arrived. The menu is quite large and varied and most of us ordered something different. Despite the array of orders and the small bar-side kitchen, the food came out quickly. Another nice touch from a service perspective was that we were given a heads-up that the kebab skewers would take longer to prepare. Whilst this meant that a couple of orders switched to burgers, we weren't left pressed for time on what was only an hour long lunch break. The food was what you would expect from the home cooked/ pub grub menu and there was change from a tenner so it's not a bad option among city centre pubs for a pint and a...

My very. Very favourite, friendly, central pub when out and about in the heart of Glasgow. Signposted on Buchanan Street, just pop down the lane. Staff great and oh yes😁 good selection of food always freshly made, piping hot, not forgetting a good range of refreshments 😁😁. Disabled ♿ toilet too. Most important for some! Heated seated area for smokers outside and in good weather there is a seated tabled area on Buchanan Street. What's not to like! Get there early during busy times or book a table. Always a good atmosphere without being too raucous 😬. Have a wee Break for goodness sake! Don't pass by, drop in, you will always be made...
