Couch — Restaurant in Sheffield

Hired the venue out for our wedding reception back in July - and I couldn't have had a better night!

Lottie was absolutely amazing in the run-up to the party - I was quite anxious but nothing was too much trouble and I left things mostly in her hands, as I was quite non-committal about set-up. I was incredibly pleased with everything on the night, there were no issues at all, and all of my guests had a lovely time. Lottie and the team were just so friendly, nothing was any trouble for them and I just really appreciate all of their effort on the night!

Food-wise, we went for the "Party Menu" and chose sliders (with salad and fries as sides) - there were mini cheeseburgers, chicken burgers and falafel burgers. By the end of the night almost all of them had been eaten, with the exception of some of the falafel ones as I had over-ordered for the number of vegetarians just to give a bit more choice. We were very happy to take home a few of the leftovers, which were delicious after being popped in the air fryer.

I had also ordered some of the drinks packages (wine, beers, craft beers) which I was happy to find all got drunk (I think I put a good dent in the wine myself). Lots of guests also ordered cocktails which were delicious - shout out to the Flat White Martini in particular, which was absolutely amazing. I might go back to Couch just for a drink so I can have another one.

The reason we chose Couch in particular is you really can skip on decorating the venue. It has a cosy, industrial vibe with its own plants, fairly lights and décor. There were also fresh flowers on all of the tables anyway so we didn't even need those! I was really pleased with the overall aesthetic and vibe - and it can really save you money on decorations. However, if we did want decorations, Lottie & the team were more than happy to help us with setting them up beforehand!

We recently held our wedding reception at Couch, and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish. We dropped off our decorations and cake ahead of time, and Lottie made sure every detail was taken care of. When we walked into the venue, we were blown away by how beautifully everything was arranged. The food was amazing , exceeding all our expectations, and the cocktails were out of this world. Lottie crafted a personalized drinks menu for us, adding a unique touch that our guests absolutely adored.

The ambiance of Couch is both chic and cozy, providing the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Every member of the staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring our guests were well taken care of throughout the evening.

Nursing a hangover I was led here. It's a vast place with rustic wooden floors.

We chose a spot and was informed to order at the bar when ready. They offered from eggs benedict to pancakes. With a might thirst I ordered a vanilla shake and orange juice. Himself a flat white and cappuccino both expertly made. My shake was tasty enough.

As for food I felt a good cleanse was in order so I opted for the smashed avocado on beetroot sour dough bread with poached eggs. Himself had hash browns with sausage and bacon.

I exclaimed when mine hit the table ...the portion was huge! The eggs were perfect and grilled tomatoes...the bread was a little difficult to saw through and it just needed some cracked black pepper / seasoning. My partners was perfect with superb ingredients such as thick bacon and tasty sausage.

Overall the service was pleasant and everything of good portion I personally would try a different...
