A Fantastic Pizza Spot You’ll Love

If you’re a pizza lover, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we stepped in, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcome, adding to the inviting and bustling atmosphere. Their genuine enthusiasm and prompt service only enhanced our dining experience.

The menu offers plenty of choice, with something to suit every taste. Whether you prefer classic Margheritas, indulgent meat-topped pizzas, or adventurous vegetarian creations, you’ll be spoilt for options. Each pizza is freshly made, with a perfectly crisp base and high-quality toppings that make every bite a delight.

One of the highlights of this place is the lovely open kitchen, where you can watch the skilled chefs in action. It’s fascinating to see the pizzas being tossed, topped, and slid into the ovens, creating a real sense of theatre and authenticity.

A word of advice: make sure you book ahead! On our first visit, we didn’t, and the restaurant was too busy to accommodate us. This speaks volumes about how popular and fantastic it is, though. The second time, we returned later in the evening, and it was absolutely worth the wait.

The delicious pizzas, combined with the lively ambiance and excellent service, make this spot a true gem. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to, whether for a casual meal or a special treat.

Proove, during my visit on a Saturday lunchtime, left me with mixed impressions. The restaurant was only at quarter capacity, which meant a relaxed atmosphere, but it also raises questions about its popularity. The menu had a decent selection of options for both regular and vegetarian diners, which is a plus.

The restaurant's open and simplistic design was pleasant, and the friendly waitress added to the overall positive experience. However, the ambiance music was a letdown as it came across as too bassy for background music, making it a bit distracting.

On the beverage front, it was nice to see Coca Cola served in glass bottles, and the fast drink service with ice and a lemon slice was a nice touch.

Now, onto the food. The tomato sauce on the pizza was disappointingly bland and could use more seasoning. Additionally, the garlic on the marinara pizza was clumped together and not evenly spread out, which affected the overall taste. On a positive note, the pepperoni on the Americana pizza was fresh and had a good flavor.

The Italian fries were enjoyable, but they were slightly over salted. The addition of oregano did add a pleasant flavor to them.

We ordered one GF pizza and one standard pizza during our visit. Despite the restaurant being barely 1/3 full we waited 30-40mins for 2 pizzas and 1 salad. Overall the GF pizza was incredibly disappointing, the dough was undercooked and the toppings were only on one half of the pizza.

The standard pizza was just about "acceptable" but not great considering the price point and given our expectations were quite high. Ingredients were quality but everything thereafter was a bit shambolic.

Our waitress was lovely but the rest of our interactions with the staff left much to be desired as they seemed completely apathetic and generally gave poor service from start to finish.

Overall we were left disappointed and would not be returning and activitivly reccomending to avoid

On the plus side the Proove pale ale was great, shame we won't be having it again.

After a return visit, our initial visit has been written off as purely a one-off.

The gluten-free pizza especially going from one of the poorest we've had to one of the best we've had, the GF dough was very impressive indeed.

Credit to the team as this was a completely different experience in the best way possible!
