A lovely warm welcome and a brilliant breakfast.

Walking in, the place was bright and light with chic decoration. The young team on front of house were all smiling and friendly and busy but very welcoming.

Classic breakfast options are available as well as a selection of excellent alternatives.

Scrambled eggs, plenty of variations on the Full English depending on your tastes, Eggs Benedict looked delicious and tasted even better, stacks of pancakes with bacon and the Tropical Twist smoothies, made fresh to order, were so so good, TRY ONE!

You may need to wait to get a seat because locals know a good thing when they see it (and taste it)

Updated review: I went to the Oystercatchers Cafe again after not having gone in a year or so, and I'm so glad that things are just as good as before! Once again, if you fancy delicious food and excellent service, do yourself a favor and visit this lovely place!

Original review: This little cafe has become a regular place where I love to go. The food is always delicious, and the staff are always welcoming. They have a great menu with lots of choices, and their veggie/vegan options are amazing. Me and my parents were new to the area of Teignmouth and we were craving breakfast! Then we found the Oystercatcher cafe, which was already inviting thanks to the art just on the side of the building.

When we left, we left happy customers!

Staff, kind and courteous Food, delicious Decor, wonderful

My parents had the Skipper (full English) while I had Eggs Italia, a twist on Eggs Benedict, and it was the best eggs Benedict dish I've ever eaten. What's even better was that I'm allergic to tomato, which is what's normally serverd with the dish, so when I asked to have the tomato removed, they did so. No questions asked.
