Polish Bistro serves absolutely fresh home cooked food, super hot and tasty. Food and service is top rated 5 Stars. Pork Escalope reminds me of how my mum used to make them, god how I miss them..but now I know where I can get that authentic home cooked food. I had Beetroot Soup as starter which was amazing. I'm now looking at recipes so I can make it at home, my children are doubtful it's going to taste good, hope I can do justice to what I had on Saturday. This is a fantastic gem hidden away on harbour street in Ramsgate. From my two experiences (so far) the food has been a delightful surprise with nice large portions considering the conservative prices, and the flavours so simple yet so brilliant. Truly worth a visit for anyone looking for a traditional Polish lunch or dinner without having to dig deep into your pockets. We ate lunch here today as we were passing and it looked more interesting than other places nearby. What a find! It was absolutely delicious. Beautiful beetroot soup with croquettes followed by sumptuous dumplings. We live an hour away but I would definitely visit Ramsgate just to dine here. The food is good value and totally authentic home cooking - we really felt like we were on holiday! I cannot recommend this cosy little restaurant...
