Could be an excellent place, but falls short. Some excellent instructors, but badly let down by some of the other staff. We used to go pretty regularly, but stopped when we were told specific prices over the phone, then charged much more when we were there. Nothing was done about it, and the promised callback from manager never happened. Reluctantly we simply stopped going. Great shame, as one of the instructors in particular was amazing. There was another unpleasant back office incident too. Pay in cash on the day and you know where you're up to. Toboggan is a laugh, but be aware is weather dependent. Update for 2024. Mini golf still needs a bit of TLC and drinks in café were lukewarm, with no food on despite signs advertising Bacon butties etc.

I imagine on a nice sunny day this is a great day out, there's plenty to do - skiing, snowboarding sno tubing, tobogganing and golf - all making the hike up there with it. There is a car park but we like to see the kids faces when they see the hill they're climbing! So imagine their faces when they climb the hill and there's a ski competition on so no sno tubing and the weather is not playing ball - rain has stopped play on the toboggans. Fair play to God - every time the staff got the toboggan run dry He sent another shower. After 2.5 hours of this we gave up and got a refund. It's reasonably priced and has a cafe. If you're feeling energetic there's a short walk up to the top of the hill and some very lovely views.

we attended Thursday to ride the tuboggan. I must say from the initial phone call to enquire how u would be able to handle the needs of my autistic child to arriving and actually enjoying the ride was a pleasurable experience. Not once was we made to feel a hindrance even though it was busy and all the staff was friendly and welcoming. Chris who took my initial call was superb which made it a super day out for my lad to which he now wants to return as a result. I for this owe you a big thank you and for any parent out there with concerns then fear not this is the place to go and I’d certainly recommend to all family and friends

I read some of the reviews beforehand about long queues for the toboggan ride, but I didn't actually think it could take as long as they were saying. When I bought my ticket the man behind the perspex screen mumbled something about a 'half hour wait'. I had to ask him to repeat it as it wasn't clear. Turns out he must have said 'an hour and a half', but it would actually have been closer to 2 hours. I couldn't wait that long. I'm there on my own with my child. The second they (or you) need to use the toilet, you lose your place in the queue. So we waited for an hour and a quarter and we had made it perhaps half way through the queue. Perhaps one or 2 people would actually get on every 5 minutes. The queue is also just out in the open on some grass and mats. By then I had a hungry, bored child with sore feet, so we left. I'm so disappointed. We made a special trip out to visit. If I wanted to go and get a refund I would have had to join the ticket queue again which would have taken another 20 minutes. Honestly, I don't know what the solution is. More toboggans? Limit the ticket sales? Bookable time slots? All I know is that it doesn't work on a busy summer...

This place could be so much better if they organised themselves properly! Came here whilst holidaying in the area. We had prebooked the snow tubing which was fun,but unfortunately you aren't able to prebook the tabogan run which the kids had really wanted to do. We tried to queue for it but it was getting on for a 3 hour wait and with kids aged just 5 & 8 so we had to give up and ask for a refund. Totally appreciate that it's a weather dependent activity (it doesn't operate if it rains) so they're reluctant to allow people to prebook, but it wouldn't take much to organise a virtual queuing system in say half hour slots. There was a queue to buy drinks in the lodge which is totally understandable due to covid but, whilst staff were lovely there was no urgency in the service, so the wait was much longer than it needed to be. It's a bit frustrating to watch as it could be run so much more efficiently and the staff are all very friendly! It could be a 5* place but I couldn't give it more than 3* based on...

Arrived at the centre at 425pm on Sunday 26th May with my daughter. Already looked online before hand and it stated 6pm close. Stood for 5 minutes watching the toboggan, decided she wanted to go on it and was very excited. Headed over to reception to book, before we even entered a young man said are you here to book the toboggan, I said yes, to which he replied we've stopped selling tickets due to the que line. I explained this to my daughter who was obviously upset by this (currently under sen diagnosis) I advised to the staff member to please pass on that there should really be a board put out in the car park to advise of this, before a family heads over all excited to book to be told an hour and a half before closing that they cannot go on it. Please take this seriously, as I'm sure there are many other families this has happened too. A board just stating tickets are sold out for the day to be displayed on entering the car park surely would not be a...
