Food was OK. I wouldn't say overly impressed but it was OK. Table booked via Facebook page which was very handy. Managed to snag a table in the beet garden which is awesome, big parasol umbrellas with lights and heaters so good for evening drinking. Food is only served until 8pm but aslong as you're in for then I believe you'll still get your Food as we had desserts delivered at 9:50. We had burger and fries and a kids fish and chips. Portion size is large even on the children's portion although the peas were stone cold on the fish and chips. The burger was a decent size just a shame it was a little dry and not a great deal of flavour. Nice side salad though but the fries a little over cooked. The garlic bread was fantastic though and the onion rings were very nice. All in all an OK night with OK food. The drink selection is fantastic. Also some menu photos attached as I couldn't find a menu online that was an accurate one as they still seem to be on a much reduced menu, can't blame them though. Very busy but plenty of room for social distancing etc... can't fault them there and very clean. Also worth noting even though they're short on waiting/kitchen staff the service was a decent. Didn't have to wait long for food/drinks although you do have to pay for everything as you order it (drinks and each course of food) no tabs on the table.

One of those pubs you can genuinely say is a "proper pub". Relaxing, easy going atmosphere. Live folk music every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. . Classic olde-world character, very friendly staff (get to chat with Stefan one of the barman - fascinating entertaining character!), good selection of quality cask ales and lagers. Very good food. Outside good size seating area with landscape views over Llandudno and right by the tram station ! Locals and tourists customers alike. Family orientated. Dog friendly. Live music events and weekly Wednesday quiz. Been coming for so many years during my regular travels along the amazing North Wales coast and around Snowdonia. Steady ten minutes walk from the pier. Highly recommended.

If you have the energy to walk up the hill to catch the tram then go in here as a reward afterwards!! The food selection was excellent (they start again after 5pm). Very clean, very nice, the outside space is floral and welcoming. The staff are helpful, quick and knowledgeable... I asked for "a dry white wine please" the barmaid said "Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot or Chardonnay" I asked for Sauvignon Blanc and she said "Chile or New Zealand" (I'm not joking when I say I have been places where the wine offerings are "red or white") Games to play are kept in the bay window for the kids, and they are very very friendly. Nice to wave to the passengers on the tram too 100% recommend

Stayed in Llandudno for 3 days over the Christmas /New year period and looking for somewhere to eat. Chose the Kings Head a after looking on TripAdvisor. Very popular pub, locals and tourists alike. Booked a table in the restaurant for 3 of us. Welcomed by Tanya the waitress and asked to take any of the tables for 4. Menus were on the table and Tanya came and took our drinks order. The starters we chose were black pudding with egg and hash brown, the other starter was breaded hallomi with a tomato sauce, both vert nice. For the mains two of us wanted sirloin steak but they had run out, fish n chips, Kings hot pot with chicken and beef stew were then chosen. All three were beautiful and very tasty, we all agreed it was possibly the best pub/restaurant meal we had ever had. Very lovely meal and would recommend the Kings Head without hesitation. Tanya was lovely and asked if we were locals or on holiday, very chatty and attentive waitress without being over bearing. 10/10. 😁 Richard. Edit to original review: - second visit two nights later was a disappointment, chilli n rice was quite bland and not spicy hot at all despite it saying so on the menu. Beef stew not as nice and less beef then first visit, staff still really nice, but 7/10...

If you're looking for a lovely, wind-free, sun-trap of a beer garden then this is the pub to visit. I had a couple of really tasty pints of Welsh Pride sat in the lovely hot sun (in mid September, what luck!) and despite it blowing like mad elsewhere, this garden was breeze free!

The ale was really tasty and was clearly looked after well by the staff, so I came back and had another one when I came down from Great Orme.

Unfortunately the kitchen is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (could only find this on a board outside the pub but not anywhere online) so I wasn't able to try their lovely looking menu, but if I'm back this way again then I definitely will. (5/5 rating as there is no n/a option)

Amazingly dog-friendly pub with free drinks for all dogs (just ask at the bar), great service, lovely garden, excellent...
