Came here for drinks with friends while staying in Swansea Marina. Very traditional pub with an excellent selection of cask ales, including a couple of well-kept Theakston’s. A small bar, so gets very crowded inside, but some accommodating locals made room for us to sit down. A nice space out front for fair-weather drinking, although the latter is a rarity in Swansea!

Wonderful, traditional "proper" pub near Swansea Marina. Friendly service, lunchtime menu (the pics show a steak pie with vegetables, Quorn curry & chips and coconut sponge with custard) and lot's of historic memorabilia displayed around the venue. If you're lucky, you can find roadside parking or there's a pay & display carpark a short walk away.

Got taken to the Queens last night by a client after a great meal in town. It's apparently one of the pubs they have been visiting for years when in Swansea for projects. So worth the walk..... Nice old pub, both sat chatting when one of the young barman came in and turned off the lights behind the bar...... both of us had about a 3rd of a pint left. So as my round, said is it last orders, can we have a couple more before you stop. The main bar was still busy, and we could see they were still all drinking...... to be told no, we've stoped now m8.

So carried on chatting while we finished...... to then have the other barman come in and start pulling more pints for the locals in the other side...... asked what's going on? To be told we Only serve the locals, and went...

Superb traditional hostelry serving constantly changing excellent quality real ales. Home cooked food by Donna and her underlings is always delicious and reasonably priced. Real dinners enjoyed by OAPs, local residents, shoppers and passers by alike. This is not a “ chips with everything “ place. Joe and Co serve Theakston’s Best Bitter and Old Peculiar accompanied by 2 consistently changing guest ales. Ignore the sign, we’ll behaved, dogs are welcome Not so much a pub as a local institution. Come and see what all pubs...

Lovely old pub, near the Marina. It's like stepping back to a time when pubs were proper ale houses! Food is served up to early afternoon. Great menu, home cooked and great value. We had 3 different meals and they were all a good size and very tasty. Great choice of ales, Theakstons ales on draught, excellent! Being a bit picky, but bar staff tended to see to 'regulars ' first. I would definitely recommend the Queens to anyone who wants a great pint in a lovely old pub...
