The Lunchbox — Restaurant in Wales

The lunchbox is a very quaint little place, with staff who are happy to help and informative with anything you may need.

The food quality is well what you expect, yes a lot of the options are a little greasy. However when you buy a burger or hotdog that is overloaded with cheese or onions for a decent price... You get what you pay for.

My fiancé and myself enjoyed our first visit immensely and are super excited to try more things on their extremely extensive food menu.

My only thing that I feel could be improved is the price of and amount of the cold drink...

Food is overpriced and greasy. No idea how this place has a 5 hygiene rating... it was absolutely stinking. The cutlery i was given had dried food on it and the plate my food came on was also dirty. Service prior to this visit has been okay, but this visit I was left being overcharged and told the prices advertised on the board were old and not applicable. Surely the prices advertised should be correct?! When challenged i was met with awful attitude from none other than the owners daughter. Would not return. Please put your daughter on a customer...

Went there for something different. I had hot dog and chips and hubby had sausage,mash,peas and gravy.

Food wasn't great...chips tasted like they'd been sitting out for ages. Hot dog was ok. Nice onions.

Hubby said his mash wasn't great and was Lumpy.

We wasn't far from the market doors so had flies around which puts you off a bit.

The staff weren't pleasant...they didn't seem welcoming. When we left I saw our server...hold her hand next to her ear as if listening to see if we said thank you. I made a point to shout if to her.
