Usually visit here a couple times a week to pick up dinner on the way home. Typically, seems like the night shift is ran by a group of younger guys. They are always kind, helpful and friendly. Visited last night and the old hag they had running the register was an unfortunate addition. She was cold, rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. She continually berated the young man making the food on the line, telling him everything he was doing was wrong. I understand following policies and procedures set by the business. HOWEVER, this is something you talk to the employee about KINDLY, after the customer leaves - not directly in front of the customer. I found it profoundly unprofessional and I can only imagine the abhorrent work environment this woman makes for the rest of the employees. I'm not sure if she's a manager or what, but next time I see her in there, I'm driving somewhere else for food. I do want to absolutely point out that the gentlemen typically working the night shift are awesome and this was the only negative experience I've had at this Qdoba. That woman needs to find a back office job with no customers involved where she is free to frown and make back handed comments to herself...
Read moreUpdate: We made a trip back to the Aberdeen, SD Qdoba today for lunch and we were very impressed by the change in quality! Workers stayed busy, manager was out helping the staff during the lunch rush and we got full meals! Overall a huge improvement over my last few visits. We will be returning soon for more great meals! Thank you to Qdoba for supporting your customers! I have updated my 2 star review to a 5 star review.
Original: 2 stars. I have been coming to the Aberdeen Qdoba for many years. It was my go to spot for food after a hard bike ride. The food was always delicious and there was a full meal every time. My last 3 trips here have been rather disappointing. The food is still delicious but the quantity of food is down to snack size portions. The nachos and burrito bowl used to be a full bowl and now only cover the very bottom leaving us hungry. The chips and queso used to come with a 3/4 full bag of chips and now only contain a 1/4 bag of chips. I would like this Qdoba make a comeback, have full meals again and take a seat at the top of the...
Read moreWe as a family have been eating here since they opened. We visit frequently- sometimes weekly. It’s one of our first picks in Aberdeen. Sadly we will no longer be eating here. Our last 2 visits they have over charged us. Our young children have eaten the same meal for years - nachos without queso. Management no longer allows us to order their meals without queso - they claim it’s a mini burrito bowl which costs more. Even tho when ordering thru their app you can order a child’s nacho with NO QUESO. We pointed this out to management and their were rude to us. My children no longer receive chips, applesauce or a drink with their food. To purchase these items their meal costs 2x more than a children’s meal at $4.95. The burrito bowl cost $5.95 and then we add in the cost of a tiny juice box, chips and the applesauce they should have received as a kids meal. Both times my children have left hungry as their bowls contain...
