My husband and I went to eat at MO’s in Aberdeen NC yesterday because he had a deal for their bowls. They were half off. When we arrived, no one greeted us. A young girl growled at us and asked what we were having. She asked if I wanted beans and I asked if she had fresh black beans because the pan was almost empty. She rolled her eyes and got another pan from behind her in a hot cabinet. She was extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming and not once smiled or spoke in a warm tone. When we reached the register, his points wouldn’t work. A friendly pregnant woman rang us up. She then got the manager who was in the back in a small room off to the side talking to a Walmart employee who was also in the back behind the counter. I know she worked at Walmart because she had on the blue vest and a name tag that said Walmart. She came and couldn’t get it to work either so she took half off. We also ordered two drinks. I tried several zero cokes and they all tasted like they didn’t have any syrup in them. I would give this establishment a rating of 1 out of 10. The food bar they were serving us out of and and salsa bar were all disgusting and dirty. Not maintained at all. Very poor service with the exception of the pregnant woman, who in my opinion, was the only one there that should have been in a bad mood and she was the friendliest one out of them all. Kudos...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service here is decent, and the restaurant is always nice and clean—which I really appreciate. There’s plenty to choose from on the menu, and while the food itself isn’t super flavorful, it’s on the healthier side. The real flavor comes from their sauces, which are always fresh and tasty.
They also run great daily deals, which is a huge plus. One thing worth noting: queso and guacamole cost extra. Even if queso is offered for your taco, burrito, etc., it’s about \
4 extra. However, if you make it a combo (side of queso + drink), it’s only \\
3 extra—definitely something to know before ordering so you’re not surprised at the register.Drinks are priced separately from combos, but they have a really nice kids’ meal deal: every Sunday, kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal. That’s an awesome perk for families.
They also serve plenty of fresh tortilla chips and have a full salsa bar with different sauces, salsa verde, and toppings. Fresh lemon slices for the tea are a nice touch. For those who don’t eat meat, they even offer tofu as a protein option, which is great.
Overall, a clean restaurant with solid service, healthy options, flavorful sauces, and great deals—just be mindful...
Read moreStaff are all nice and I've had good food and service in the past but the last three orders all had issues. I decided to finally go there in person since the menu for doordash doesn't have a tofu option and the veggie option doesn't add anything to the order. First time I got a childs burrito when I ordered a homewrecker. After going there today for my third order it was less busy due to them closing around 9:00 but I showed up around 7:50 and they decided to cook the tofu fresh, which I had no problem with until getting home to eat the food. Everything was fine but the tofu was undercooked. I wouldn't have minded staying for the wait if they needed to prepare the tofu. The worker there didn't want to serve me tofu that was sitting out and I appreciate that. I understand that they were prepping to close within about an hour but I still believe that I showed up at a reasonable time. It would have been more understandable if I showed up much later. I'm still willing to go there and give it a few more tries but if I have more issues I won't be returning...
