It’s sad to give this bad review as my family and friends have been dining here pretty much since it opened. However, I also do gig work on the side and learned how your managers speak and treat drivers. First and foremost I’ve been working with my company for right at 10 years. I maintain almost perfect ratings and pride myself in doing my job correctly. Today while I was looking over orders as they’re just set on the table and making sure everything was there and matched a man came over and told me to mark the order on my phone. Being I have never been asked that before at this restaurant I may have had a puzzled look on my face. The man then asked was I a customer or driver in a much politer tone. I responded driver and went ahead showed him my phone and marked the order as received. Then I heard about the company I did not work for and theft problems with their drivers. Keep in mind this was not done politely but in a condescending attitude. Now you would think they would want to know I had the right order or hadn’t grabbed more than I should have being they claim to have a problem but no check was done. So I told the man, sir that is very rude. This ended in the manager making a scene and telling me how he didn’t care that I had done what I was ordered to do and that I even attempted to let him confirm the order with me. The issue here is we are not lesser human beings because we deliver food. I also deliver pharmaceutical supplies, medical equipment, and even do hot shot runs. No other industry speaks to us in this way. I’m a good law abiding citizen that undergoes regular background checks for my jobs. I should not be spoken to in this fashion. This has nothing to do with showing the order or being asked to mark it but how it was done. Maybe you can talk to your employees in this fashion and you may think it’s acceptable but I am a grown 45 year old man and being talked to like I’m a child for no reason is ridiculous. Your manager made it very clear I was not to come back in your establishment even though I said nothing profane or derogatory. So I will make sure we no longer dine at your establishment. It’s just sad this is the world we live in where people like your manager think they are better than another because...
Read moreIn general, this COULD be a cool place to hang out on a hot evening. The food is great, the bartenders are nice and they have live music nights. However I will never be back. There is an older blonde lady who acts like she owns the place and loiters at the front counter...SUPER RUDE!! My husband and I are new-ish to the Abilene area and live close by so we have stopped in on several occasions. Each experience has been worse than the last. She argues with people over refills, and is hateful to Door Dashers. Even the other young ladies working there seem to walk on egg shells around her!! Absolutely ridiculous!! I also saw an appalling display a couple of weeks ago with a young black man who clearly was just asking a question about an additional charge from them on his receipt...I could not believe how degrading she was in her manner of speech and body language. Truly shocking that anyone in the customer service industry is being allowed to get away with treating their patrons this way. She may just be the reason people Door Dash to begin with, so they don't have to experience...
Read moreVisually observed patrons food sit for 15 min at a time before being called out, or until the customer came searching for it. Lots of people, lots of talking about everything but work, little work actually being accomplished. I counted about 10 employees standing around, walking back and forth, carrying on convo. I called in a order of nachos, and three tacos that took 27 min to come out after I arrived. It took me 10 min to get there. There wasnt a line, AT ALL, and i saw three small orders go out over the course of 30 min. What i did see was employees eating nachos, sipping on drink refills, and having a good ole time. I actually could care less what they do as long as my food is prompt and hot, with reasonable consideration for the number of customers waiting. My food was cold when i got it, and i have never experienced this type of unorganized, and dissatisfactory service from any Fuzzys in the DFW area. P.S. the young black gentlemen with long hair, prepping food, may want to wear a cap, in a bun, or a hair net for...
