Negative ZERO STARS ON SERVICE!!! Today my family and I decided to get milkshakes from Sonic on Clack. When placing our order my husband asked if the milkshakes are half price after 8pm? The person taking the order said happy hour ended at 5pm. We proceeded to the window. When we got to the window there was a lady that looked super irate and irritable. She stared at us with this horribly stern disgusted, look on her face. A guy by the name of Kendrick came to the window and read our order back to us for payment. My husband asked him again if the milkshakes were half price? He said “no sir only if you have the Sonic app.” My husband said ok let me get to the app. Kendrick kindly shut the window and we proceeded to quickly pull up our Sonic app. Not that it would make a difference but by chance it would. At this time the witchy lady ran up to the window and said “ We need you to move out of the drive through if you’re getting the app, we have paying customers we have to attend to! ” My husband told her “I am almost have it pulled up.” She yelled at us and said y’all need to MOVE!! Then got upset and irate saying “she was not going to accept our payment and she was now denying us service. My husband said, “ what do you mean you don’t want our payment? And now you’re denying us service??? She said sarcastically, “ WE ARE NOW DENYING YOU SERVICE, cause I can!” Denying us service for some shakes! UPSURD! When I asked her what her name was she covered her name badge and slammed the window. I started recording her as she denied our payment and left us just sitting there. I recorded her actions on video for the complaint I was going to place on her horrible service. She realized we were recording and came back to the window opened it angrily and YELLED AT US TO LEAVE!! I told her to have a nice day and she flipped us off as we drove away. Little did she know she was flipping off our child in the backseat! When our child started crying over witnessing the entire horrible interaction with this employee. We hope management see this horrific display of service on Sonic’s camera as it is utterly unacceptable! Whether she had a bad day or no patience for her clients, she had ZERO RIGHT TO BE SO RUDE and deny us service over an app. Flipping us off was the most unprofessional act I’ve ever seen!! It was uncalled for and for sure going to corporate and I hope her actions are delt with accordingly! She should be ashamed of herself!! Complaint submitted to district manager...
Read moreMessed up a simple 2 burger, French fry and tater tot with 2 RT 44 size Dr. Pepper order. Was told 3 times what we wanted on the burgers. Were given small size French fries in Sonic size carton. Tater tots were fried too long. All our order was ice cold. The cheese on my burger was 1/2 way off and had mustard and ketchup instead of just mayonnaise. Received large DP not RT 44 DP. We went back and I went in and talked to the manager. She did remake the order correctly after asking me 3 times about what we ordered. One of the car hops tried to give me someone else's order while I was waiting. A customer walked in and said she didn't get one of the drinks on her order. I used to be an assistant manager at a sonic and the lack of organization and professionalism at this location is appalling. Even the manager looked at me like she couldn't understand why I was upset my order was wrong. She said that the employee had asked her 3 times about it. If it was brought to her attention, then why didn't she go ask my husband to clarify instead of ignoring. He said he sat at the drive-thru window while the employee was running back and forth. Don't use the excuse you were short handed and busy. When I was assistant manager sometimes we only had 4 employees including me: 2 kitchen (1 on fryer-1 on grill); 1 car hop who also helped fronted (make drinks-ice cream-shakes); me on order box and fronting. We'd have all the stalls full and phone orders and still got most orders out within 4 minutes. We had an awesome crew who cared about doing a great job and worked hard! After the run we worked like mad to restock for another run. It's called TEAMWORK! Our crew had a great work ethic and didn't walk so slow a snail could pass them. Read moreWe showed up at 9:30 pm when they close at 11 pm. There was maybe 4 cars in the stalls but we decided to go through the drivethru. Upon entering to the speaker, we were not greeted but noticed a carhop delivering food with a headset on so we patiently waited for her to go inside because we thought maybe she was also on the drive through. After watching her walk across the parking lot and make eye contact with us, she proceeded to walk inside the building and then walk outside making eye contact with us again and walk to her car. We decided after waiting there for an additional 5-6 mins to drive up to the window and try to get someone’s attention. After making eye contact with multiple workers and staring at an empty expediting screen, a girl with a nose piercing and glasses on the tip of her nose opened the window and said “it’s closed”. I said “what’s closed?” and she repeated herself but this time with her hand pointing to the drive through and as I was about to respond, interrupted me and said “you’re going to have to pull into a stall”. I was so appalled by the lack thereof basic customer service that we drove off and to a different sonic which treated us 100 times better. I have worked at a sonic before, specifically the drive through and I would have never blatantly disrespected a customer like that. If she would have opened the window and apologized for making us wait without letting us know about the drive through being closed, it would have been a different story. I looked for a notice saying the drive thru was closed and there was none, not even on the website. This is not the first time we have had a terrible experience at this location.
