I am very frustrated and completely disappointed with how Target has handled this āGlobalā issue. I called Guest Relations. Not once did Target hold themselves accountable for taking funds that did not rightfully belong to them, not once was I told, āTarget will do whatever it takes to make this right.ā All I got was, āI understand your frustration, I apologize sir..ā Actions speak louder than words. Thatās great customer service! So, to rectify the issue that TARGET had encountered on August 2nd 2021, TARGET put the responsibility of getting any individuals money back on the innocent consumer when it really wasnāt their issue. Myself, I was told by a TARGET guest relations representative to call my bank and put a dispute in with my bank which I sat on the phone for an hour explaining the situation and at the end of it I was informed it could take up to 90 days to rectify my account in my case. Iām currently out of pocket the $125.57. Now basically if I want my money back I have to put the effort in to get it back if I donāt Target gets to keep it. My question is why is it put on the innocent customer to rectify an issue that TARGET had? As well I feel sorry for the people that donāt put in the effort to get their money back and TARGET keeps that money, that will definitely makes the stocks rise and margins increase for the month of August. Myself, I will not be purchasing a single item from Target from this day forward. I have also encouraged friends and family not as well if they run on strict budget not to shop at Target because you never know if you will walk out with double or even triple charges (not sure if the triple charges are correct) however, if anyone watches the Stock Market you can see Target Corp. stocks falling. Is this a ploy to appease the Stock holders and Board of Directors of Target Corp? Totally disappointed on how this was handled. Again I fully understand whoever receives this email is just a employee of Target and their authority only goes so far, I feel for you, I truly do as you donāt get paid enough to deal with this kind of issue and Iām sure there are some ignorant people out there taking their frustrations out on the innocent employee. This email should be forwarded to whomever has the authority to address this GLOBAL ISSUE as Iām sure Target generated over a million dollars plus revenue on the double charges and most likely gaining interest on the overages. The only entity benefiting from this is Target Corp. . Ensure your supervisor and or Board of Directors get a pat on the back for not holding themselves accountable as well making that quarterly report outstanding with a Q2 reported revenue of 22.98B and EPS of 3.38 and couldnāt find a way to make this right. Ā Ā Ā Read moreyour cashier thought I had a counterfeit 100.00 bill. She based it off of the feeling of the bill. She called a manager over and started showing her the bill. The cashier mind you didn't even inform me what was going on. I figured it out when she handed my bill and another bill out of the drawer to compare it to. I told her these came straight from Abilene teachers and offered to give her a different bill. I just wanted to get out of there due to the embarrassment i was feeling. Neither the cashier or the manager took any further steps to check the 100.00 bill other than feel it and rub on it. The manager NEVER engaged me or spoke to me. I understand the way we look does not fit in with Target lay out BUT we are still customer's. SO the fact that the cashier and the managers incompetence caused me an embarrassment I have NEVER felt in my life I will not be coming back to target. The fact they thought I had fake money, the fact neither one of them verified the bill any other way than touching it, and the fact that the manager didn't even feel it important enough to talk to us ad explain helped me make my decision. Yes I did post my experience ob FB and Instagram. I hope I or anyone else ever feels this type of embarrassment by your store, or staff again. I know me not shopping with you will not hurt your bottom line, and this feedback wont even be looked at twice. We are below middle class, we work hard. I work for our district. Okay, let me explain how the scam works: They have a promo for two bags of Dunking Donuts coffee for $7 ,regular price is $8.59 each ,now when I went to checkout ,the price was still $8.59 each ,so I called the cashier,no questions ,she changed the price.I left a comment on the customer review site online,a manager replied and apologized ,I was thinking no biggie,they will fix the mistake.guess what ,three days later I went back to buy some more because let's be honest ,the coffee is good and the deal was great. Surprise ,surprise ,same thing ,I was charged full price ,the cashier did radio somebody and the guy on the other end confirmed the discounted price right away,now my question is ,they had 3 days to fix the mistake ,why they did not do it? the answer is because that's how they trick people too buy ,let's be honest,how many people check their receipts once they go home and how many more even bother to go back to the store even if they figure it out that they've been deceived...Target just reached a lower level if you ask me ,no wonder that they are losing money and closing...
