Vegetarians - Señor Salsa in Abington is your Deal of the Century restaurant for maximum value and a generous portion. I ate their veggie fajitas priced @ $9.50, had a beer, took home an add'l salsa and chips, an add'l 3 torillas, and made a huge, hearty 2nd meal of the leftovers, all for $16.67!! The 2nd picture is what I took home... what was LEFT OVER after I had 4 tortillas crammed full of whole-food Mexican goodness. I arrived mid-afternoon on a Weds in Oct 2020 w/hardly anyone there - maybe 4-5 other tables - so of course I was seated right away, and chips and salsa appeared immediately. And yes, their salsa, both normal and xtra spicy, is amazingly yummy and fresh. Up to par with their name for sure. I used the xtra spicy to dress my fajitas too. Their Halloween decor is awesome, near Hollywood quality, and the soft, spectral lighting serves as color therapy, like watching C.S.I. I didn't even look at the menu - I ordered vegetable fajitas, my go-to in all Mexican restaurants, LOL. The meal came out fast, easily under 10 mins, and it was everything I could have dreamed. The veggies were firm and crisp, not overcooked, and it was A LOT of food. Be warned - there's chopping and cutting to do. The broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, peppers and squash are served up in large chunks and need significant time and effort to cut down to fajita size. But I'm good w/that! Hey, if you're going low carb and you just eat w/a fork... ignore that last remark! When I do it again, only thing I'll do differently is tell them to hold the chez. They use a QR code menu, which I eventually perused, since I was so impressed by the size of the meal I became curious as to the cost. I had to scroll forever to find the veggie fajitas, listed way down under lunch specials. I would expect fajitas/lunch specials to be only a few frames down. When I saw the price, I asked Maggie, my server, if that was ACTUALLY the price!! I got two FULL meals out of it, which means I ate for $4.75!! Please tip well... they should be packed to the gills. I've passed this place hundreds of times, but I'm always a little wary of franchised food. I prefer mom & pop restaurants for real authenticity, but Señor Salsa delivers the goods. I wanna go back there right now!

I love ❤️ this restaurant. One of the best I ever went, ( and I go to a lot of Mexicans restaurants) Service was great, it was my birthday 🥳 …Our waiting time was less than 15 minutes, they quickly accommodated a table for 10. I love it all, my waitress was absolutely lovely, professional , totally on point. No mistakes at all. The food was amazing. I wish I can upload the video of me being fat and doing my happy dance, lol We was all able to eat and take some home lol , The margaritas, OMG! 🙌🏻 best Margaritas in the story of Margaritas ever, just go and see it for yourself. Best birthday ever! I love everything about this place! They sing happy birthday to me and I got to wear their iconic Mexican hat. Even the kids was having the time of their life. This people know what they doing , they definitely understood the assignment. Please keep doing everything with love. I was so happy and lit 🔥 I forgot my flowers 💐 😫🥳🤣Thank you guys for the best birthday of my life! 🎂 🫶 🇲🇽 ❤️ 🇵🇷

I just left this restaurant and I want to say I'm disappointed. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because a female HOST came to our table and told us we had to leave because we had been there too long. Now I understand the 2 hour stay policy in order to be courteous to other potential customers so had we been provided with fast service we would have gladly left and gave this restaurant 5 stars. However this was not the case. We arrived at around 330pm and were immediately seated and served chips and salsa. The waiter did not come to our table to ask for drinks or just simply introduce themselves until approximately 4pm. We were served our drinks not long after and then had to wait approx. 10 minutes before our food order was taken. I was a little irritated until I noticed our waiter, Julio, was busy. He had alot of tables and we noticed he was stressed and we understood since we both have worked in the food industry and have family that works in this industry so we patiently waited. We were finally served our food and additional drinks lets say close to 430pm. This is almost an hour after sitting. Food was delicious and drinks OMG were one of the best margaritas we've ever had!! Even though we had to wait for it and it may have taken a while we were okay with it because it was honestly worth the wait. We were actually patiently waiting for our waiter again to order more drinks, to go containers and our bill when a HOST walked over to our table [I should mention this was not the host that was there when we arrived so there must have been a shift change in hostess] and told us in layman's terms we had been there too long and needed to leave. At this point it was close to 520pm. My partner and I were very offended and decided to not order any more drinks and leave. Had we been provided with food and drinks in the first 30-40 minutes of our stay we would have been on our way home. To our waiter Julio, you should thank your colleague HOST for the tip you received and to the owners, you should also thank the same HOST for the 4 star review. Had this been handled differently I would have gladly left and gave a 5 star review. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're going to be treated like a bother after sitting for more than an hour and a half due to slow service. This experience was very disappointing and made my partner feel extremely uncomfortable, so if you want your loved ones to experience that feel...

Short Explanation:

Long wait times

Bad customer service

Not enough people working tables Cleaning and serving

Only two restrooms 1 male restroom single entry 1 female restroom single entry So there is usually a line to get in either restroom

Not enough seasoning on food (Shrimp were will seasoned)

Tastes rushed

Long Explanation:

To be clear This is not meant to purposely Bash Senor Salsa. This is just my honest opinion based off experience there.

This was not my first time at Senor salsa. This would have been my 3rd time (if I'm not mistaken). This was my first time eating outdoors at Senor salsa. The other two times I can remember I ate inside. In my opinion the food wasn't the best based off the dishes I've tried. Though there were certain parts of each of the dishes that I can think of (along with the scenery) which made Senor salsa tolerable.

Each time I've decided to go there I've always walked in optimistic. Wishing for the best experience each and every time. Though other than the company my experiences here, haven't been the best.

My most recent I'm going to Senor salsa was Tuesday April 27th 2021. There were a lot of people there which gave me reason to believe the food was really good (despite my prior visits). It was difficult finding parking mostly because they put the outdoor seating over an area parking spaces.

Eventually was seated, didn't take too long to be honest someone just left. It did take a long time for a waiter to come take our order a really long time. This is where my main issue starts. Our waiter finally comes over takes our order. Our table wasn't thoroughly clean so they had to clean it again. They were really short on staff there. Were two waiters / waitresses attending to at least 15 tables outside.

I had gotten the shrimp tacos and shrimp fajitas. 2 and 2 so 4 platters all together. We barely saw our waitress. The things we requested such as sour cream, to go bags containers and even the check. Either did not come at all or took 15 minutes to get to my table. It was only me and one other person. I had to go inside and request the items from the bar or the manager. I did not have a pleasant time on my last and most likely final visit to...
