Very disappointed! I will admit it has been at least 8 months since eating at this Chili's in Aiken, SC. I came in to town to surprise my mother & she asked to go out to eat. She wanted to stay near where she lives so she asked for Chili's. "You know we like their fajitas," she said. We ordered 2 beers, fajitas, chips & salsa & I asked for some guacamole. It had NO taste at all! It was smashed advacodo & a bit of tomato. NO seasoning, no cilantro, no salt/pepper, lime juice. The waitress brought the manager to speak to us. We told her that it was tasteless & she apologized, she went to kitchen & made up something, brought it back to our table, asked us to taste it. It was better (you could taste the lime) however it was unappealing to eat. The so called fajitas were brought to table. No sizzle, no heat on plate. The shrimp was to one side, the steak was to another, very little onions & peppers. There was a pile of rice covering the majority of the plate & a cup of black beans. It was not like fajitas. The shrimp seemed disjointed from the meal like it was not grilled together. The manager said the onions & peppers were "freshly cut & cooked". They were more like frozen vegetables you would cook that come out very limp & soft. These were not fajitas. The young lady who brought out the meal did not even bring plates, shells or sour cream out at the same time. We waited on that for a few minutes. Needless to say, my mom was very disappointed. She had about 2 bites & I ate a bit more. The waitress came by, asked us how things were & I had to tell her not good. I paid my bill on the table kiosk & we left. The most pleasant thing at this Chili's was the young man who greeted us when we came in & held the door. One last thing on my mind- you should always offer a glass of water when a patron orders a beverage...
Read moreI usually have good experiences at this Chili’s, but my last visit was terrible. My boyfriend and I went here last Monday and were very disappointed. We ordered the 8 piece Nashville hot wings for our appetizer and got skimped on the amount of wings we got. I showed the waitress that we were missing wings and she said she would get the rest of them, but never did even after reminding us that they were on the way a second time. We still got charged for the 8 piece even though we didn’t actually get 8 wings. The side salads we ordered were tiny and were basically just lettuce and cheese, not worth the price at all. We both ordered fajitas for our entrees. When the waitress brought our plates to us, the steak in both of our fajitas were bright red and bloody. My boyfriend asked if it was cooked all the way and the waitress said yes which I couldn’t believe because it definitely was not cooked all the way through and she had to take it back to be cooked longer. My boyfriend asked for a jalapeño sausage on the side which he never got, so he had to ask for it because the waitress said she forgot it. All in all, the service and the food were not great which is very disappointing because I usually love Chilis. Our waitress was nice, but seemed clueless and kept forgetting things. She never once refilled our drinks or brought the wings she told us multiple times she would. All the other servers looked like they were just standing around and talking. It seems like whoever was cooking wasn’t putting much effort in and was just rushing to get the food out. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. Being served raw steak and being skimped for full price...
Read moreMy husband and I have been going to this Chili's for a while now. We decided to go on Christmas Eve. We got seated then greeted by our waiter, received our drinks in a timely manner. Then we waited and waited to order our food. I noticed that a young lady (named Sierra, possibly one of the managers) say something to our waiter. He approached us and finally took our order. Then we waited 12 minutes for our appetizer of chips and guacamole but received chips and salsa instead. I told him that is not what we ordered, we finally got the guacamole. Sierra realizing that we were not receiving the service that we should decided to take matters into her own hands. She apologized to us multiple time, we did appreciate that. No one likes to be given a lame excuse about why a large party could mess up someone else's dinner order. I just wanted to thank Sierra for her wonderful service and making our Christmas Eve dinner even better! We will continue to eat at this Chili's Restaurant. By the way, our meal...
