If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I ordered 1. Jr CornDog Tray with hushpuppies, cheese quessidilla and a shake. 2. Spicy chicken Tray with hushpuppies and CHICKEN QUESDILLA and a shake 3.. Spicy chicken Tray with hushpuppies and CHICKEN QUESDILLA and a shake. Girl is red dyed haried made one extra shake. I get that mistakes happen and she took extra dribk to the back after I told her the mix up. I understood and this didn't bother me like THE BiG issue did. THE BIG ISSUE: The food came out and none of them had CHICKEN QUESDILLA. They were cheese instead. I understand that mistake happen and I was hoping it would get corrected properly. Unfortunately it was handled by the employee AND ESPICALLY THE MANAGER horribly. I told them of the missing two Chucken quisedilla and I provided them the receipt order 3053 on 8/25/2024. They said okay, we will take care of it. A tall guy in dreads comes from the back and said here you go. At this point I looked in the bag and noticed there was only ONE CHICKEN QUESDILLA. I asked help from the African Amrfian gril dyed red Hari who messed up the shakes for help. She refused to help. I asked the cashier and refused to help. They all walked away from me. I had no choice but to yell "excuse me." THE MANAGER had the audacity to say I had my CHICKEN QUISIDILLA ALREADY when I only received one. They all called me a liar until I had to prove it. I said that I would have been okay if I just got an apology and that I was making a report to corporate. I did and explained the issue. They are reaching out to upper management of the district. I can't believe even the manager called me a liar. I can say after I proved her wrong with the food I brought up the counter she did give me my CHICKEN QUESDILLA that was missing. Still didn't get an apology. I was told t"o go eat and that it isn't a big deal." by the employees protecting the Manger fo what she said. The reciept is attached. This place has the worst customer service ever!

I love a char-grilled hamburger, but I doubt that their regular burger patty is 4 oz. It looks and feels significantly smaller than a Quarter Pounder, as tasty as it is. It's more akin to one of the skimpy beef patties you would find on a Big Mac®. Too much bun for so little meat. Their onion rings are unremarkable, similar to what you might find in your grocer's freezer. Get the fries, instead. Hushpuppies? Bland. The corn dogs are a satisfying childhood memory option. Cookout's menu is downright gluttonous and visually difficult to decipher on the fly at the counter or drive-thru. If you go to their website, you'll find no prices, which is not a deal-breaker by any means – it's inexpensive. Compared to the national quick-serve chain restaurants, Cookout is a good bang for the buck for those who value quantity. The drive-thru employee barely uttered a word throughout the entire transaction. They didn't even ask if we wanted ketchup for the pile of fried food we ordered, and we didn't have to presence of mind to request condiments, so we had to drive around to park while one of us went back into the restaurant. Looking at the receipt, I now see that we were probably charged for water that we didn't order. A note to Corporate: Consider printing a survey URL on your receipts for feedback so that consumers don't have to take the time call you to describe their experiences. P.S. Despite my comments in the above paragraph, you'll notice that Corporate copied and pasted the very same reply that they use for every single less-than-stellar review, inviting me to call them.

I knew I quit going here for a reason...and it's only gotten worse! After not visiting for over a year, I decided to give Cookout Aiken another go...it was rudely stated all they had were nuggets, strips, and corn dogs due to their "shut down phase." Never has that happened to me before but, as someone who has worked in food service mind you, I obliged and ordered nuggets and fries just so to have food on my stomach. What I got was worse than gas station fried food... Spent ~$7 on 3 nuggets and "double" unseasoned, not even salted, fries and a Cheerwine float. Only good thing this location has going is that their ice cream machines aren't always down and even then, I wouldn't want to even speak with the rude cashiers being upset I even showed 1.5 hours before closing. No longer doing business with Cookout. Especially my hometown of Aiken location. Disappointed is an understatement.

I was at this Cook Out on 8/14/2025 at 12:05 am. i went through the drive-thru, I placed my order, I ordered a barbecue sandwich tray no Texas Pete CHEDDAR STYLE!!!! AND YES I SAID CHEDDAR STYLE AND I SAID IT FOUR TIMES and even as I pulled up to the window to pay I told the cashier out the window make sure it's chedder style he asked me did I want the coleslaw and I said yes, and I want it cheddar style... Then I had to pull around to the front door and wait like 7 minutes more and they were not busy at all I was the only customer during this duration!!! I finally get my tray and I drive all the way home... Open my tray and unwrapped my BBQ sandwich to eat and guess what absolutely no cheddar style and my quesadilla had hardly any meat on it... And I don't understand this.. I have been there before and every once in awhile they get my order right when they listen... How am I going to tell you cheddar style four times and even as you taking my money and I tell you again cheddar style... And I get my sandwich no cheddar style and my quesadilla had hardly no meat and this has happened repeatedly... How you going to ask me questions and still get it wrong???? And I was the only person in that line during this whole time!!!! I am severely upset I paid $10.34 for my meal, not to have it correct, is not acceptable especially when told numerous times how I wanted my tray... Very disappointed in their night shift!!! And this is why I very seldomly go to cookout anymore!!! If they had a negative 5 star that's what they...
