I never write reviews but for this place I must. I love Jimmy Johns subs but not from here. You see I was a former employee and loved it until I witnessed the owner (our boss) cuss out the new employees, bring her personal life into the restraunt and take out her anger on us and throw food and cuss some more, tell us we're not good enough, and the list goes on.
If you want to work here, don't. This is the worst a boss can get. Coming from a father with a successful business I can tell you first hand this business is failing and she does not know how to run it. She doesn't treat her employees good at all and when someone tells her how it really is, she doesn't take it into perspective. Instead she never considers that she is ALWAYS the problem and continues with her failing ways.
The food is alright. Meat is sliced everyday but sometimes expired meats are used which is disgusting in my opinion. The vegetables used are usually fresh, but if they aren't she still feeds it to the customers because she is a cheap ass and doesn't want to buy new fresh things. Instead she watches the customers eat the brown spoiled lettuce and sprouts and happily takes their money.
If you want a sub, don't eat here! Take it from a former employee and customer. You're better off at sub station or jersey mikes. And who want to eat from a place where the boss puts on a fake smile and treats her employees like her slaves?! NOT. ME. Never eating here again as long as I...
Read moreBeware. Orders are frequently inaccurate when delivered from their online service. If it's wrong, you stand no chance of getting your money back, let alone be treated with courtesy or respect. The Management of this location is not remotely interested in customer service, and does not care about your experience. I ordered a sandwich and when I called to let them know it was wrong....missing avocado spread...missing cheese....missing tomatoes....missing mustard.... (this was the third time.. in some months orders have been wrong) they sent another also incorrect. None of the toppings I paid extra for were on either sandwich. The staff made up a correct sandwich, took a photo, and sent it to the Manager to cover their tracks. Lol The Manager accused me of being dishonest regarding this transaction. WHO does that? I didn't think I needed to take pictures of my food. The Associate also was hostile, rude, and belligerent when I called about the order to start with. I was nice about it, and in the company of others in a public place so I certainly wasn't rude about it. I just wanted a turkey sandwich. Note to the wise: Get your "Deli" on at Jersey Mikes and at all cost eat anywhere...
Read moreOrdered via the app, thought I selected an unwich then called them to state I have celiac and that it is active so I needed a full change of gloves, surfaces, cutters etc. The person on the phone did not have any clue what I was talking about, despite the fact that I have had several managers explain to me that it is now part of the default training. When I got the sandwich, I left and went back to my car. It was on french bread.
Yes, I had called, one would think that even if I had ordered the wrong base saying that I had celiac would have raised a flag during prep. Not at this store.
I will say the MoD was friendly enough about things, but as I was speaking to her I saw my new sandwich being prepped, on the same surfaces, in the same gloves, presumably from the same cutters as gluten contaminated products.
I said, hold it, stop I will just take a refund and left. I did offer to pay for the chips I had consumed, but they declined. The manager earned back a star, but I am still astounded by the employees behaviour. Every other Jimmy John's has been a pleasure, this...
