Great atmosphere and location. We went with friends and we all have children ages newborn-10years old the fact that they had a secluded area with toys and children's table for them was a HUGE reason we will all be back. The kids were very easily contained while we enjoyed each other's company and could keep a close eye. Beer was good too, we liked the "Test batch." They don't serve food, however, we were able to order wings and pizza to have it delivered right to our table (bring paper plates or have them bring them if you're ordering out..we forgot!). Employees behind the bar are very friendly and helpful, and kept up with snacks for kiddos as the night went on. Taste, presentation, value, and everything else about the meal was perfect. Everyone at the table said the same, tasty and perfect. While the brunch menu is small, you can find something for most people.
Not only was the meal wonderful, so were our drinks. The guys behind the bar were extremely helpful and friendly. Giving suggestions, answering questions and helping everyone get what they liked. The drink menu was not just beer, they have wine and spirits as well. Something is...
Read moreWe arrived at Akronym Brewing before our movie at the Nightlight Cinema just a block away. It was a perfect, sunny Spring evening so all the doors and walls were open to the good weather and the customers ranged from folks in their twenties in casual attire to a few folks dressed nicely after an event at the neighboring Akron Art Museum. The patio had the bar had comfortable seating and there was a giant Connect Four game you could play as you sipped.
The bartender was attentive and friendly and the HENRY IPA 6% — an award winner from 2019 and 2020 was delicious. The food that was cooking smelled great, but we had to get to our movie. I definitely plan to return to try more of the beers and the appetizers before...
