I went to The Nightlight to see a movie. Just a few doors down is Totally Baked Pizza where I grabbed one of their specialty pizzas called the Shaggy & Scooby and ordered their homemade Lucid Lemonade. The Shaggy & Scooby includes PB&J, shredded short rib, red onion, Italian cheeses. I’ve tried PB&J inspired pizzas before, but this is the best that I’ve eaten. The flavors are unique and go perfectly together. The service was also great. The gentlemen helping me suggested that I come back in the evening as they are connected to High St. Hop House and Baxters Bar where you can grab pizza at Totally Baked Pizza and then head next door to eat it at the bar while enjoying drinks and listening to live music (on certain nights). If you’re looking for a night out to enjoy a movie and then dinner and drinks or you just want delicious pizza, then this is the spot as they have the some of the best specialty pizzas.

***WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!*** (Insult and Injury) Do yourself a favor and read the 1 and 2 star reviews so that you know what you are getting into. The overall rating is what drew us to this place, but I wish I had read through some of the comments. This place is a prime example of why I don't like to tip before being served or receiving my food. We paid an extra $10+ between the "dine-in surcharge" and the tip and the experience was down right awful. I went to this place with my wife and kids as we traveled through Akron on our way home from Cleveland. The older guy who took our order was very nice and suggested that we get an appetizer that he could have out to us "in about 7 minutes" to hold us over while we waited for our pizza. We were then asked if we would be dinning in and were charged a $3 "surcharge" for eating inside. 35 minutes later, we had not received the appetizer and when we asked about it some younger guys were now the only ones working in the restaurant and they told us that the appetizer would not be out until our pizza was ready. That was nothing close to what we were initially told when we were convinced to order it, and I had never been to a place that brought your appetizer with your food. We also asked why we had not received our drinks and he said that he would bring them out. We asked to cancel the appetizer and the guy just walked away form us without saying anything. 10 minutes later, we still did not have our drinks and received no response to our request to cancel the appetizer. When we asked again he replied, "the other guy working knows how to work the payment system better than I do so he will do it." A few minutes later he walks back out with these canned sodas that we had been charged $2 each for. No way we would have purchased drinks had we known that they were small canned sodas. We asked again about being credited back the $10 we paid for the appetizer that we canceled and he responded, "oh he cancelled it." We spoke to the other employee who claimed to cancel it and he nonchalantly said, "it will be back on your card in a few days." We finally received our food (14" bbq chicken pizza, 10" cheese pizza) and the food was mediocre. As if things weren't bad enough, while we were eating, the old chair that my daughter was sitting in literally collapsed from under her sending her crashing to the floor in pain and embarrassment. We went and told the worker what had happened and he literally just looked at my wife and said, "ok." This was absolutely the worst restaurant experience we had ever had. This was on Saturday (9/2/23) and, as of today (Wednesday 9/6/23), we still have not received the refund for the cancelled appetizer that we were supposed to have been credited back for.

Last night, I had to go to a wine tasting event at the Akron Civic Theater. The highlight was finding Totally Baked Pizza near the light red wines. They did some kind of yummy garlic cheese pizza that probably goes well with light red wine. I don’t really care about wine but I love pizza! So, tonight, Super Bowl Sunday, 2022, I ordered a large Chong pizza. Basically, pepperoni and cheese heaven. The sauce is amazing and the crust is incredible! I would give it a 10! But Google only allows a 5. The menu is fun to peruse, especially if you are a fan of marijuana. I can see how this place could be a treat if you had a case of the munchies. Like I said, I love pizza and I hope this place flourishes and that the first franchise is in Cuyahoga Falls so I don’t have to drive downtown all the time!

Pizza here is dope! Fluffy crust. Seasoned nicely. It's sooo good once you get to the end! They have a lot of options and their house made recipes are really good. Not a whole lot of need to mix and match. The prices are fair, too! For what you get...a small could be perfect for two people because the slices are thick...almost like deep dish. I'm not sure what the larger size looks like, but I have to go back to try it out. The atmosphere is interweaved between the bar next door and the other venues in the building. It's like made for you to take your pizza and enjoy other places in the building. I think that is dope a'f. Grab a pizza here, step next door for a drink while you wait, and enjoy live music or a game of billiards. They have it figured out in Akron!

My mom really wanted pizza late night, this place wasn’t too far. My mom said it was one of the best pizzas she’s had in a long time. She said there’s actually enough (but not too much) cheese and that you can actually taste the sauce. I don’t eat pork so I didn’t have any but I look forward to coming here for a veggie pizza! We also had the garlic knots. Very good and pulled apart like cotton candy 🤤 owner was very nice and made sure our order was on point Update: I have had this place a few more times since I initially submitted review and I don’t know what but… it is not the same. My pizza looked great but I picked it up and it was sloppy as ever. The dough was also watery almost. It’s sad bc they had a good thing going and it seems it’s gone forever.

I was in Akron for a dance competition with my son.we had some time in between dance and awards, so we stopped here for a bite to eat. My son is 14 and kind of a picky eater. He got a 10-inch Chong ( Pepperoni ), and I got the 10-inch Jerry Garcia ( meat lovers ). It was a Friday night around 7, so it did take a bit of time, but it was well worth the wait! He loved his pie, and mine was amazing ! They seem to be 3 separate buildings with inside access to all . The middle one is a full bar with a great beer selection. The far room has some couches and high tops set up. I definitely will be eating here the next time we are in Akron. Huge menu ,so many tasty looking treats!
