The atmosphere was better than expected for a “hotel restaurant.” We wanted a place with live music to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and we were not disappointed. It was very laid back and clean. The piano was fantastic and at the perfect volume. We had no issues holding a conversation while music was being played. Meech, our server, was one of the best I’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and great at helping us choose different food and drinks. The regular menu was a little on the smaller side but they also had a special holiday menu that we chose from. My only complaint, and why I can’t give it 5 stars, is that it was a tad overpriced. With drinks it came out to about $100 per person before the tip. So, just be prepared for the check because those drinks add up quickly.

Stayed at the Blu Tique for the night and after a long day of dancing comps, sat down for a wonderful meal. Food was excellent and staff even better Miss Elise treated us like honored guests and was very helpful and attentive. Thank you Elise for serving us so well, was a joy! The hotel is clean and luxurious with touches from a foregone era. Most certainly recommend this location if you have any kind of event at the Knight Center in downtown Akron. Would most definitely recommend and will stay again when we happen to be here in Akron… Thanks BLU-Tique for a lovely stay… Sincerely, The Moser Family p.s. great view from the 8th floor.

The breakfast was ok. I wouldn’t recommend the burrito. It was so cheesy that I couldn’t taste the eggs. I was offered lots of veggies which I happily ordered but they were sparse. The potatoes that came with it were cold and greasy. My sister’s avocado toast was great. These folks really did want to please. I just think the executive chef, who I met while having a glass of wine the night before, needs to do more training for the breakfast cook. I will be back. The service was great and the coffee is very good.

Blown away by how bad this experience was when pricing and reviews are suggesting otherwise. Came here on a Wednesday night and reserved a month in advance because I didn’t realize the place would be empty and I quickly found out why. There were about 4-5 staff members I could see outside of the kitchen and only 2 other tables eating the entire time we were there. After being sat we waited about 7 minutes to be greeted. After ordering cocktails I knew it was only going to down from there. I watched the bartender make the drink in between conversations with other staff members for TEN minutes. There was no one sitting at the bar. For a while she held the half made drink while talking. So no one is here, I can see the bar, and it takes 10 minutes…wild. Waitress finally delivered drinks and took orders. Order 2 steaks, a pork chop and salad. When asking to sub asparagus for the literal only other side they offered which was Brussels sprouts, they were out. You all serve two and only two veggies and you’re out of one? In awe now. The meal was average at best and hardly saw our server so much so we ate most of our meal with no drinks because she never checked on us. If I were the owner or manager I would have lost my mind. I rarely give poor reviews because I understand how busy and chaotic it can be in the service industry but this was far beyond terrible. Piano player was the best part of the night so...

What a wonderful hotel and restaurant!!!! Very classy place. The restaurant located in the hotel was top notch. Food was excellent, both quality and quantity. If I could rate the atmosphere a 10, I would!!! The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. It was quiet yet there was also a singer/entertainer. It was a perfect mix of relaxing,, quiet, cozy and entertaining.. Service was good as well. The only negative is I asked for no cheese on my chicken sandwich and it still came with cheese. I always say, more power to the server if you don't write the orders down, but if you don't write them down,, you better get the order correct. Anyway, I peeled the cheese off as best I can. But that is minor compared with the entirety of the dining experience. I was here on business, but I will definitely be back for a...

We were excited to try this restaurant and really wanted to like it, but we ended up being disappointed. The atmosphere would be nice, with the city bustle outside and the piano, but the tables along the exterior wall are so close together that you can barely squeeze between them. Maybe 18" between the tables. Hard to enjoy a meal when you feel like you are dining with strangers. The food was also underwhelming. We ordered house salads and the pasta. They were busy (weekend before Valentines Day), but the food took forever and when it did arrive it looked like it had been sitting for a while. Portions were small and quality was not great. We both left hungry. I realize this is a "hotel restaurant", but it is marketed as upscale dining. If you are considering a nice date night out, there are much...
