Very important experience to share, hoping Freddy's will see my customer experience.

Visited this location 3 weeks ago. I'm late in reviewing, but my review was important for me to share. I saw a rarity in this industry .

This particular order was rather small. This location is fairly new, so business is booming here. Stopped in just for a few treats. Have been frequently visiting this location since its opening. The two ladies who were working the front counter were very polite. For some reason, my order was having issues being completed. I just purchased two forms of ice cream. One was made, while the other was put on hold for over 10 minutes. A manager came out and told me he was sorry, they were having some issues. By this time, my first ice cream had melted. He ordered the lady to remake it. Another 10 minutes had passed, and my second ice cream still was unmade. The same manager came out and let me know they were now having issues with the liquid marshmallow. By this time, the new ice cream they had made for me already was melted again. The young lady was having a moral struggle about remaking it for the third time. When suddenly the manager ordered her to remake it again. He asked her would you want to drink or eat your ice cream, if I overheard him correctly. She smiled and remade my ice cream. This was all a to go order, and I had not spoke or asked not once about my order, the melted cream, nor the wait. I was kept inform by the manager own his own honor, pride in his job. He replaced my ice cream order. Finally, after another 7 minutes, they got my second order fixed, and low and behold, she fixed the wrong ice cream. I felt bad at this point at the troubles the store was having. The same manager came back and asked the lady to fix both again, correctly, and also give me the extra ice cream. This man was on top of his job. He was observative without me ever saying one single word. I never asked why it took so long, I never complained about it being soup, not solid ice cream, I never had to. This manager took pride in his job. The customer's quality of product, and the wait was very important and priority to him. I saw him non stop peeking around to keep an eye on the situation. I just wanted to take a few seconds and try to explain the attention he gave to the small order, his employees jobs, and me as a customer. The quality of product he meant I was going to receive, and the customer satisfaction in the end was just extraordinary rare. I took his name from the young lady. He was a joy to be around, a hard worker, and an excellent manager. His name was Mr. Joe Williams. Hold onto this young man. His is a rare gem, in a rushed, inadequate word. My appreciation to him is great. It was more of the pride and work ethic he had that will drive me back to this location, every time I pass it! Which is a lot! Thank you Mr. Williams for being a fine example to the world!! I walked out of Freddie's with more than just delicious ice...

The atmosphere is very retro and I love that. *But first, if the manager reads this, I overheard a conversation about the floor. Your mopping solution is off and that is why the floor feels like that. There is too much solution to water. You will have to strip the floor (not like stripping wax, but just stripping the chemicals and it will suck and take time to do). I learned this the hard way, I had to use vinegar water and go over the floor several times till the water was not soapy anymore from the floor. I dont know what you can use in the restaurant business. Then the floor will be good. *

The food was decent. Those onion rings are really good. My daughters liked their food which was French fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders. We then opted to get some frozen custard (ice cream to them). Both got sundaes with chocolate custard, one plain and one with M&M's. I'm glad I got mini sizes because that was plenty. I also go a mini concrete with vanilla custard with peanut butter and reeses mix in. I was pleased with it. I would say it is around 8 oz. So good size for a mini. Oh, I got the Jalapenos Cheeseburger with french fries, and it was decent. I tried the jalapeño French fry sauce and it was decent.

The service was super fast! Maybe 5 minute wait for food. The servers were very professional and pleasant. The place was pretty clean, could do better, but I'm just really picky about that kinda stuff. 😅 The bathroom was clean. Overall, I...

Took my daughter to try it. Line was long so we decided to eat inside. Walk inside and 1rst impression a complete circus! Music was strange and super loud and you could tell no one was managing or leading pure chaos! We order and not real sure what we we ordered because it was so loud couldn’t hear what she was telling us we ordered. We shrugged our shoulders and said well hopefully food will be good we are adventurous! Well after we ordered no directions or anything about where to pick up your drinks you have to ask everyone about your drink just to get one! We sit down to what was disgusting tables were fithy nothing was being cleaned or sanitized. I can imagine how much corona is floating around there. I had to lay out napkins on top of dirty table just to eat. Well food did come pretty quick but you have to ask for everything ketchup napkins. We were dining in but ours came in a to go bag. The cheeseburger was disgusting I had to peel cooked beef crusty whatever it was off to get to burger. Cheese was literally just slapped halfway off burger some attached to the pieces I had to peel off! This place is way to exspensive for the food that was nasty! The fries were the only thing that was ok! Will not spend anymore of my money here! Gross! Don’t let the hype of new place to eat in Eastern shore get u ! Wasted meal, wasted my money,...

Freddy's is definitely worth the wait. I've eaten at other burger chains many regard as the best, such as BurgerFi or In-n-Out, and I'd rank Freddy's up there as one of my favorites. The most surprising thing about Freddy's isn't their (excellent) burgers, it's their fries; they are shoestring style which creates a nice crunch and texture, and they are seasoned very well. I actually prefer the fries plain, instead of with either their cheese drizzle or house fry sauce. The fries are a welcomed change from the boring fry found at rival burger joints. Freddy's cheese curds are about equal to Culver's curds. The burgers are, as expected, very flavor, particularly because they have a much more prominent sear on the patty than other smashed style burgers, which creates a hearty crust. What really won me over was their shakes. While I was not a fan of the malted shake, their milk shake was absolutely delicious...it has a sweat cream aftertaste, with strong vanilla profile. Between the curiosity of just opening and good reviews, it's easy to see why the wait is so long.
