It's been more than 2 years customer to this place, it was very good n fresh fish but recently many wrong orders and found owner double charge me for the bill when I order take out in person pick up, my bill were $72 but I checked my bank online found it was $155! I called many time to this place, either not picking my call(I called at not busy time) or hang up on me when I talked about double charge!? it was very weird n felt it was scammed, after whole week trying reach,I got owner text n will look into this matter, after sometime he refund me the $80 he said it was the tips he charge! Ridiculous! N blame on if I click wrong on tips adding a "0", I said u can look through camera, the card payment always has pop up tip recommendations I just click on 15% for togo, there is no need to input how much for tips or write any tips on screen,n why would I put $80tips it's more than the food bill $75??so if I never check my bank and I never find out double charge!oh very important note: owner did confirm all the TIPS will NOT directly go TO THE EMPLOYEE, "Our staff is paid fixed tip every day. They don't get paid the actual tip charged on credit card."(so all the tips we paid it's more like adding to their business!) I've been customer to this place n recommended to frd and family, dine in or Togo or ubereat every other week for the fresh fish bowl, but what a disappointment. I still gave a chance again n ordered ubereat, but missing items to my Thanksgiving dinner, and owner knew n prepared my order, but it was still wrong. I'm not sure what's wrong with this place. Mistake here n there sure it's common, but knowing all of this from a long time customer still didn't make it right. I'm done with...
Read moreWas in the area wanting some sushi, saw this place and haven’t been here so decide to try this place. Was planning to dine in with my daughter in town, ordered but had an emergency and had to change my order to a take out order.
Total bill was under a $100 was not too bad considering amount of food and the $14 sake strawberry drink plus boba drink. The rolls was a decent amount per ordered.
My favorite: was the baked scallop roll. Nice, hot with good tasting sauce and normally I hate baked rolls like the lion king. But definitely good.
The other rolls were good as I like that it didn’t really have much sauces on them, but I was disappointed in the double salmon roll, the quality of the salmon was not as tender as I liked.
The quality of the salmon on the assorted sashimi over rice was much better but some of the pieces of sashimi was hard to chew. The salad was pleasant, miso soup was ok.
The eel roll was pretty good.
I definitely come back for the more bake scallop rolls next time I am...
Read moreLook at that fresh, PACKED & beautiful rainbow Chirashi plate . This new addition to Alameda is a must try. There’s Ramen, sushi, bento and boba here, something for everyone! The fish was fresh, they do not skimp on portions. The prices are stellar too. The ambiance is modern with beautiful Japanese touches and a tasteful art piece of the Golden Gate Bridge that somehow all fit together perfectly. Happy to see large parties, couples on a date (seemingly) and then a family came in with a small toddler, the waitress doesn’t skip a beat and brought out a night chair for the little (whom happily ate everything the parents fed her. They shared the same Donburi plate I did plus another roll.) What a great restaurant, I can’t wait to go back. There were so many other sushi choices on Park street, I’m glad I tried this one today. Please come support local and give this place a try next time you are...
