We like going to Chili's often but lately have had nothing but long waits for pickups, a rude attitude, and incorrect orders.
Food is always pretty good but I don't know what happened lately with all the issues.
Update: Had to drop to 1 star. The manager Heather is rude and unprofessional. We've gone back a couple times and everytime was an issue. She's rude and often is completely out of line with speaking to customers. Normally I just leave the star rating but it seems everytime there is an issue it is with the management.
Manager Heather told us that the order for pick up "Would be out when it is ready." when I called after sitting 20 minutes past my order pickup time. I wasn't upset just making sure they didn't forget us. The blunt rudeness was appalling. I just assumed maybe it was a rough day this time though.
I placed an online order and for whatever reason it didn't choose the right appetizer so I call and gave my name for the order and ask for the right one. She says she wrote my name and will tell them. We get home and it was wrong so I call and the pickup employee was so sorry and says she only said Heather told her there was an order where the app was changed but didn't have any other info and they had multiple orders so she couldn't do anything as she had no info. She was very sorry and based on the info it made complete sense why it was wrong. The manager didn't do what she said she did. I then spoke to Heather again and she told me she'd send us some coupons to fix it. They never arrived. She supposedly wrote down my email and address to send later. Clearly didn't bother to do it this time either.
Yesterday a manager came out and belittled and scolded our friend when he waited over 30 minutes FOR ICE TEA to deliver. My husband was in another car next to him talking while waiting for an order and our friend politely asked multiple times what was going on with the beverage only order and didn't get an answer until my husband was leaving. Our friend was finally told that they were out of tea. 30 minutes for tea is ridiculous when there was no communication and then telling someone they need to be patient, to "stop harassing" and "get tips anyways" is out of line especially when their job is paid PER delivery. My husband was there the entire time he asked the employees for an update. He was never rude just really confused why no one knew what was going on with tea. Guess that's harassing? Yet again unprofessional.
We've started going to Applebee's for our...
Read moreNot sure how many restraunts make a different type of Cesar salad but this one does! I got a hot plate with a hot spring salad mix. Literally warm green leafs possibly from Walmart with a tiny bit of dressing. The manager stated "we make a Cesar salad different here" wow was he right! No where I have been in 8 countries and even more states is this a thing. Do they make a Cesar salad with spring mix? Even if that's a thing is it supposed to be warm? I don't think so. Never the less I waited 5 minutes for a beer only to find out they don't have that beer! Then I ordered a ribeye. The waitress couldn't tell me how big it was so I said ok surprise me with the size I guess? I ordered a rare ribeye it came out medium at best and even the waitress knew it was over but served it anyways not to mention the mashed potatos were from a box. She later admitted she thought it was over from the beginning but neglectedto say anything. I have never complained in my 37 yrs of existence eating out but this was absolutely ridiculous. My wife ordered the salmon that came with almost burnt broccoli and probably 100 individual grains of rice which she finished before the manager came to ask about my food. This Chili's has got to be the worst in NM if not America! Alamogordo struggles to keep residents due to lack of "sit down eateries" but this doesn't help. I do not recommend anyone spend their hard earned cash to be taken by these thieves. We will never eat out in Alamogordo when it's cheaper at the grocery store to prepare a way better meal than these...
Read moreCame for dinner with 4 adults & 1 child. Seated within 20 minutes. Drinks came pretty quickly, as did the sample platter appetizer. Everyone ordered an entree & it came in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the Ancho Salmon. The entrees came & we all dug in. I had a bite of broccoli & loaded mashed & a few bites from the salmon; but the salmon was off. I was expecting a spicy ancho sauce & it was "sweet baby rays with some chopped cilantro on top"?!?!?!?!?! While chewing I felt a hard object. At first I thought it was a bone & started spitting the entire bite out into my napkin. Upon further review I discovered a sharp, thick piece of plastic!! I WAS DISGUSTED. I had taken 4-5 bites of food & found that. My appetite was done. After informing the waitress, she brought over a manager named "Summer". She asked if I wanted another fillet & I said "NO WAY"! I'm not hungry anymore... She insisted that she would watch them make the food & I told her no, because I would not eat it! She didn't charge us for the 15.00 salmon plate, but that was it. She never apologized & kept rolling her eyes. Everyone else enjoyed their meals & kept offering me bites of their food, but out of fear 'for my own health' I declined. I've eaten here before & never had a problem. I've eaten salmon at other restaurants and have bought fillets from the store and I HAVE NEVER FOUND BONES OR SHARP PLASTIC! EVER. I still feel sick to my...
