It’s been a few times that I dine in and they act like they don’t see you, hosts always pass by without saying I’ll be right with you they straight up just ignore you. the “manager” is very rude and I can tell he doesn’t care for the customer service whatsoever. The first time I was there I saw him passing by and so many people need it something and he was just taking care of his tables regardless if other employees need it help with customers orders but I did hear him bragging about him been the boss of the restaurant he can’t even manage. The second time, he was my server and apparently they ran out of some many drinks, again (great management) after taking my order 20 min went by then 30 min went by until I asked him if our food was coming out any time soon and his great manager response was I don’t know I can’t give you an exact time which I responded I’m not asking for an exact time I just want to know about how much longer which he rudely reply with I don’t know our restaurant is full which it wasn’t. So I said ok well we have been waiting more then 30 min and I want to know if we will be getting out food soon and again with a bad attitude he reply I don’t know. So I said never mind then we will be eating somewhere else which he said ok. I have worked for restaurant industry for many years and I have never seen such a rude “manager” who doesn’t care about the customers. But he sure can say I’m the boss without actually backing it up. I won’t be...
Read moreMy wife, two friends and myself took a trip from Albuquerque, NM to visit White Sands National Monument. After a long day in the sun and playing in the sand. We were hungry and did not want snacks from convenience stores nor fast foods. We traveled through north on White Sands Blvd, Alamogordo, it was Sunday Aug 18, @ 5 pm. We all agreed to stop in to eat. The place was empty, only one other table was used. Noticed 3 waitress's, then the hostess sat us down at a table. As we decided on our meal, the waitress came to take our order. My wife ordered, then I, requested the special advertised in the menu and all the tables. The Ultimate Burger with Unlimited; fries and drink. The waitress said, "oh, we just ended that special". My reply, why is special advertised card and signs on all tables? As I was deciding on my next choice, she says, if you still want it, I'll honor the special. Our meals were placed on the table accordingly. Had ordered the Swiss and Mushroom Steak Burger, the burger was delicious but the fries were warm and bland. Everyone else had a good dinner. As we ate, the waitress never came by to check on us, she never asked me for a refill on soda or more fries. I Don't recommend this iHOP, for a small town, would think, they would offer wonderful hometown serve but was very...
Read moreLast night my roommate and I went to eat at IHOP and had the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We went around 9:15, which is late, except IHOP is open 24 hours, so we didn't feel too bad. There was probably only 3 or 4 tables in the restaurant so it was NOT busy at all. We waited a good 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and get us sat, then it tool another 5 minutes to get a waitress to greet our table. She was pleasant at first and laughed with us. We got our drinks in a fairly good amount of time only to wait 45 minutes for our food, that never came. We ended up leaving because there was absolutely no reason to wait 45 minutes for a Rooty Tooty and a salad. During this time our waitress only check on us twice and simply said our food would be out shortly. As a past server, I know how easy it is to give good service. If the waitress would have told us that the kitchen was running slow or any kind of explanation we would have stayed. Also they whole time we were sitting at the table we could hear the servers laughing, cussing and goofing around in the kitchen. They were very inconsiderate about the customers in the dining room and hardly any of them made their presence know on the dining room floor. IHOP really dropped the ball here, and I doubt I will...
