My husband and I actually just left this store. We were unaware the store was closing for an hour and a half lunch, but the staff at the front let us walk around and browse for about 15 mins. I wanted to get a sand painting off the wall, and I walked up to some women who were working there (one was the owner) and I asked if they could help me get a painting off the wall. The OWNER immediately said, “Well you know we’re closed for lunch.” I apologized and said I didn’t know. She was able to get the painting I wanted and I walked up to the front where my husband was. My husband had made the comment thanking the store for “working with us” while they were closed for lunch. The OWNER said back, “well we like working with our customers too but not when they don’t give us a break.” To the owner of this store, you were incredibly rude and had the most unprofessional conduct I have ever seen. I’m giving 2 stars for the other staff that are kind and welcoming. Please get your attitude in check, and there was absolutely no reason you needed to be unprofessional and blatantly mean. We do not live here, and we will NOT come back. What an absolute dissatisfying experience. It is a shame that the owner was so incredibly rude because the store has a lot of very...
Read moreMy name is Asdzání Mychal Cohen from Canyon de Chelly on the Navajo Homeland. I would say to please invest your money into actual Native American jewelers. You can find many Native American jewelery makers online. Twice i tried to give this shop a chance but they will mistreat you first then apologize on behalf of another. These people make thousands of dollars from Native Americans who pawn their jewelry to survive. When we can't afford to pay off our loans they will sell the stolen goods for much higher prices than they would offer if we sell to them directly. I tried to sell them a gold plated sterling silver necklace worth 177 dollars and was only offered 16 dollars. The guy ended up telling me to sell online to get a better price. Well i will tell you all to buy online to get more authentic items of southwestern Native American Jewelry. The blue stone barely shows respect and courtesy for their own folks properly, imagine how they treat the natives who support them financially to this day. They call us Indians for crying out loud. May i ask what is the reason we learn geography in schools when Americans themselves still refer to the indigenous peoples as Indians? India is on the other side of the...
Read moreBuyers beware of fakes being sold at this store. I purchased a 1921 peace dollar and later discovered that it was a "copy coin". Per federal law to legally sell it, the coin needs to be marked as a copy coin. This coin was not marked as a copy. I should have caught it before leaving the store, but it was not in my hands long enough to catch it before checking out. Later I found the weight was incorrect (17g vs 26g) and it was magnetic. The obverse and reverse were not correctly aligned either. When I returned the coin, the owner of store accused me of switching out the coin and basically calling me a liar. She did refund my money only after I stated that we can get the police and courts involved in this to settle. She asked me to never enter her store again which I already made up my mind to never do anyway LOL. The owner is an extremely angry example of a human being, I was and am still fully ashamed of her actions. Hopefully she seeks help and can find some peace in her life and some to share with others. If you buy or have bought jewelry, coins or precious metals from this shop I would recommend that you have it tested by a...
