I'm not one to complain but for the last year maybe longer to a year and a half or two now, I've been getting the same unacceptable service. I tell myself don't go back there, the food is too expensive and the service is not up to par. Unfortunately I forget about the previous occasion that I was there and I'm craving that good ol flavor of KFC. So I go there and unfortunately I get my memory refreshed on why I shouldn't go back. I try to be understanding that COVID-19 took it's toll on a lot of restaurants and fast-food establishments. I also take into consideration that your company is running a skeleton crew with little to no knowledge cause they're All still new or fairly new employees with a lead aka manager with some experience to guide and direct these new people. Something else I consider, I'm only guessing but I think your not fully staffed in order to take on the demand and you're running your lead / AKA manager into the ground trying to teach the new people on top of the workload in helping customers correctly and In a timely manner. If this is not the case then please forgive me for assuming, but your employees need retained. For instance, I ask employee are these said items in the bag as it's handed to me. With an answer of yes everything is in your order. I take it home to find out that said items are not in the bag and then have to drive All the way back to get the rest of my order. Waste of time, gas, money on my part. Duly noted, will check bag before I leave from now on. Even though I shouldn't have to when I directly asked if everything was in it And they confirmed that it was. The most recent time that I went, I wanted a four piece meal. Whoever was preparing the food apparently thought it was funny or acceptable, I don't know but for one of the four pieces I received just a bone with hard crust on it as one of my pieces of chicken. I ordered original recipe btw. It wasn't even big enough to be considered a piece. I don't understand how an unemployee would look at that and think not to throw it away instead giving it to a customer. On top of that I'm supposed to get a side and never received the side. In turn I had to come back again and complain to the manager and they gave me a new coleslaw to replace the one I did not receive because I had the receipt and showed that I had paid for it. Almost every time I go there I am told I have to pull forward and wait, which I understand because they're short-handed I get it, I try to be understanding but after 25, 30minutes it starts to become ridiculous. These are just a couple examples of the times that I have been there. Yes we all make mistakes I totally understand that But at some point you need to start improving. I can say I've been to your establishment over 10 times and out of the 10 times, eight of them were a bad experience. I'm sorry if I sound like a Karen but for what I pay for, I think I should get All of my order in a timely manner. For the price I pay, I don't think that's too much to ask for. I'm sure I'll be going back to KFC again because I love the taste and I forget and forgive quickly so that being said I'll do another review in 6 months or a year and hopefully everything will have improved by then....
Read morePulled up at 9:30pm to place an order for a door dash customer, lights on building were out, lobby locked, hours on store listed open until 10pm on Sunday's. Heard employees outside, drove around to drive up menu and 2 associate's yelled from the door they ran inside of "we are closed" then a girl was outside with a clipboard in her hand, I said I need to get an order for a door dash customer and she said we don't do that, I said well, i was sent here to place an order with KFC and you are supposed to be open til 10pm, she said well we "kinda" are open but we only have chicken.
The order was for a 1/2 gallon lemonade, and a family meal with cookies. Pretty nice size order to miss out on....not to mention 2 cackling employees who thought they were hiding and the 1 girl who didn't seem to care about my situation, which is now having to park and talk to online support with door dash about the order I can no longer complete....which cut my earnings for this order in half and left a customer with an unfilled order.
Thanks KFC....door dash confirmed you were closed early and now they will no longer have the Alamogordo KFC location made available for customers to get service from. You do not need the door dash service in your store to get these orders, this was a dash to cash order which is an order the dasher places on behalf of the customer. Door dash confirmed by chat support that they will no longer send these orders your direction.
This is a great service to have in this area, and weather it be a situation like mine, or any other customer, the way the employees acted was very offensive to me. A simple, what did you need to order? Let me see if I have what you need made....or anything similar would have not left me...
Read moreWaited for a half an hour in line to get to the drive through box. Once at the order box, I was ignored. (I would have left at this point or just walked inside, but I was comitted) I waited 10 minutes, my order was still not taken. So I called the store. I was told that someone would be taking my order shortly. 15 minutes pass. I call again. I was told to just come inside and that they would take my order there. I get frustrated at this point, because if I just wanted to go inside, I wouldn't have waited in line for 45 minutes! (Again, I was super committed to this laziness) So I called corporate while waiting in line. After a 5 minute conversation with the man on the phone, Someone finally asks to take my order. I was mid conversation with the man on the phone, so I suppose I wasn't quick enough for the person on the box, so they declared that they didn't have to take my order after all. Unfortunately, they said this while corporate was listening. They came back on the box a few minutes later, and took my order, and after waiting at the window for another 10 minutes, I finally received the food that I had waited for so long for. Overall, I could have literally gone to a sit down restraunt and ordered and eaten my food in the time it took for going through the drive through at a "fast food" place. Total waiting time was 70 minutes. And the chicken...
