I brought in a sealed 1.5 oz bottle of alcohol that I had taken out of my bag for a few seconds, along with a kombucha, while I was rearranging my things. A staff member came over and said, âYou have 10 seconds to put all the alcohol awayâ in a really condescending and rude tone.I wasnât aware of the policy, but I had no issue following the rules. I calmly let him know the kombucha wasnât alcohol, but he continued to be rude and defensive, repeating that the other bottle was alcohol even though I was already putting it away. I was simply trying to clarify to avoid any confusion not argue.
Even after the bottle was put away, he came back. The second time was because he overheard me explaining what happened to my group and unnecessarily chimed in . He also came back a third time, he then approached my 10 year old brother and harshly told him to âstop ruining the gardenâ. I understand correcting behavior but the way he spoke to him was completely inappropriate especially with his parents on the other end of the table. A child canât defend themselves, and thereâs no excuse for being rude to guests let alone a little boy.
No one ever came by to check on us or make us feel welcome. He only approached to scold. If this business cares about customer experience, they should retrain their employee on how to speak to people with...

Our previous outdoor dining in Juneau was good, but the food and atmosphere were more peaceful and better here. I was able to continue enjoying the beautiful scenic views with a nice atmosphere. Tourist dining restaurants on State St. were very busy, crowded, extremely loud with music and chatter, and had to wait to go in. Woadies is run by a Military Navy Veteran. You just walk up and order, they bring the food to you. Prices and food were excellent and less crowded. The market price for King Crab was lower than restaurants. Service was great, and the Bullwhip sauce is unique and delicious. The Cod fish and fries were excellent. The 1 lb of King crab also came with fries. We managed all the fish, King crab, and as tasty as the fries were, we couldn't finish. My husband enjoyed a local brewed beer owned and run by a Military Marine Veteran. I bought Woadies sauce to bring home, and my husband purchased the Woadies beer glass. Great souvenirs. Would definitely visit again! God Bless and Thank you for your...
