This was one of the greatest coffee experiences I’ve ever had. I went there at 8:30 ish and I was promptly welcomed in, the man at the register was basically a Coffe Connoisseur. (At least that’s what I think) He talked me through the process of how they make their coffee and how unique their process is. (This process is the only one in existence in the ABQ area) Also I was lucky enough to try their French Chocolate Latte (Caffe Vahlrona) which was for limited time only or while supplies last. The chocolate was so delicious and rich, WAY superior to other Coffee Shops. 😍 And I was suggested to try one signature drink as well, their Caffe Arancia. If I were to describe this think of a strong coffee with some hints of orange zest. I was skeptical to try this because as soon as I was told the ingredients, I was thinking about that time when I tried a DISGUSTING latte made with Coffee, Milk and Orange Juice at some other local coffee shop. 🤢 But I trusted my barista and he did not disappoint me! Even he told me (after I mentioned the orange juice story) that they would not even dare to make that at their coffee shop. So, CLEARLY they DO KNOW what they are doing. To finish my visit, I tried one of their freshly made pastries, “Kouign Amann”. It was filled with a creamy vanilla bean custard. It was simply perfect, not too sweet, packed with flavor! I will definitely recommend this place to all! Note: It’s a small and cozy place, hard to find a table during their rush hours. It’s also part of the Old Town plaza, so parking spots are limited if you want to be close to the Coffee Shop. Be there early and enjoy your coffee.

Only open a few weeks, Cafe Enzo is a very cozy cafe located on a street adjacent to the plaza square. The coffee and food there are worthy of the 5 star rating. I had a regular Italian dark roast Latte. I paired that with their Italian pistachio orange cake. Both were great. The espresso is personally roasted and hand pressed by the proprietor, giving it a smooth, rich, full bodied flavor. Pastries are made fresh daily. The Orange cake is a family recipe, not too sweet, moist, with good flavor, topped with crunchy pistachios. Cafe Enzo is operated by a young husband and wife team who dress in period attire and make all the food items. The menu is limited, but everything is handmade and served with pleasure. The cafe is small with limited seating, however the atmosphere is very authentic reflecting a European style accompanied by light jazz music. Although pricier than most, the flavor, atmosphere and personal attention make it worth it. Note: There is no restroom due to historic building restrictions.

My husband and I had the most delightful Sunday morning at Caffè Enzo. The atmosphere is elevated, yet approachable. The owner is an absolute delight with a solid vision for what he wants the experience to be, and how he wants the coffee and food to taste. The coffee was amazing. They hand press their espresso, reducing the acidity greatly. We enjoyed the mocha and orange latte’s, and two hand made pastries. Multiple times my husband expressed that this was the best coffee he’s ever had in his life. 10/10. Give yourself a beautiful experience and visit Caffè Enzo!

My parents, girlfriend and I went here this morning for some coffee and decided to also try one of their pastries. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The hand press espresso machines were something to see, as there is no electronics involved. The coffee is amazing and so was the pastry we tried. We were told they have only been open for 2 weeks. The owner (sorry, did not catch his name), was dressed in an Italian suit and looked dapper. He knew everything about his craft and making coffee. We all agreed, it was some of the best coffee we have ever had. This will be our first stop for now on when in old town. Good thing we are locals :) We HIGHLY recommend this place! Best of luck to you and we will...
