I am sick & tired of going to FAST FOOD restaurant and being told to move forward to help drop companies wait times. I was at this location today and immediately after paying I was told by the employee to move forward so they could bring my food to me. I mentioned no one was behind me and decided to stay put. Shortly after a supervisor came and asked if I had recieved my drink. I mentioned yes, I did. She then too asked me to move forward to help with their wait time? I mentioned again no one was behind me. She then mentioned that their owner REQUIRES their customers to move forward after placing their order. I then proceeded to move forward and park where instructed. When the supervisor brought our food out I asked her to explain what she meant by wait time and REQUIRING their paying customers to move forward and park. She stated that they were cheating their wait time so they could be incentivized and all Owners & District Managers of Carl's Jr require their employees to have this done to their customers. I was appalled by this explanation and realized how many times this has been happening to me when I go to a fast food restaurant. Now I understand! We customers are helping employees cheat wait times so they could be incentivized. This is poor customer service and needs to be corrected from the Top! You are a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT, and your customers should not have to move forward to help decrease your lies of a wait time. I hope you all get this corrected...
Read moreWent to order at the drive through and there were 5 people total in the line, 3 waiting for food and two waiting to order, myself and another vehicle. This is during the COVID-19 Pandemic, where no customers are allowed to dine in, so there were (or should have been) nobody inside ordering food, so if Carl's decides to respond and that's what they say? I'll be sure to report them to the state.
When I pulled up to order I was told it would be 20 minutes before I could even place one, and the restaurant was set to close in 20 minutes. I usually am not harsh towards fast food restaurants, but that seems a little over the top to have to wait that long, especially when it felt like they were basically pushing me off til 10 so they didn't have to take my order at all, which is exactly what happened. Since most of the places in the area (aside from McDonalds) close at 10 during this event, I was left with no other alternatives.
To top it off half of the menu (about 8 different options) were blocked by a giant ad promoting two of their newer products. This is hands down the worst drive thru experience I've had at a fast...
Read moreBeing a vegetarian means most fast food options are off the table (no. A salad does not count as an "entré"). Sure, BK has their veggie burger, but Carl's Jr. now has the Beyond Burger and it. Is. Fantastic. I used to eat meat. They say that this tastes the same as meat, but honestly, no. It is actually SO MUCH BETTER! Seriously, if you're a meat eater, give this a shot. It's a whole new flavor with all the texture of meat. At first it looked like it cost more than the others, but really it's about the same as a burger of comparable size here. Makes me with I had the double. Fortunately Albuquerque also has the impossible burger at a few places, but it's really awesome to have another fast food place available. Speaking of, since this was my first time at a Carl's Jr. In many many years, it's also really awesome that they have a little salsa bar with hatch Green Chile for free. The cross cut fries were really good and they even had Coke zero (sugar)! Throw in a clean restaurant and very friendly staff and I'd have to say all-in-all a really super positive experience! I'm really hopeful that the Beyond Burger is...
