For our Baby shower we decided to order from Dickeys, and boy did that turn into a mistake. We ordered the wings, ribs, and pulled pork combos with large sides. Two yellow box packs. When we picked it up everything was listed on the boxes in sharpie and we assumed it had everything since it was written down.
Once we got back to our baby shower, we discovered all the ribs were missing and two of the sides. I attempted to call to see what we could do but we had no luck with any of the numbers online. So I made the decision to drive back thinking “well if I don’t have it, they should have it in the store”. When I showed up and informed the person working. She called the two that were there when we picked up our order, and they said they gave it to us. I was livid when I was told we got the ribs because I wouldn’t have drove back for something we already had. I told her I’m not trying to waste your time or mine. I have a baby shower to get back to. So she called the manager and the manager on the phone said to call the numbers online for any disputes and told her to give me 6 ribs from someone else’s order for the inconvenience. Sadly we had originally ordered 18. Grand total for our order was $315. So I was pissed when that was all they could do for us. So I said don’t bother I’d rather get a refund. The manager said he was too busy to deal with this and hung up on her. I asked her call to call him and see when this will get resolved. But she told me to step aside because she had customers placing orders and that she is working.
Ended up waiting two hours for her to finish up with the customers. To ask if she could call the manager again and he texted her back saying again that he is too busy to deal with this and for me to write my number down and he will get to it eventually.
I wish we had gone somewhere else because seeing these reviews and comments now is disappointed. Seeing that people aren’t getting refunded and the company doesn’t really care what happens after we have already paid them just makes me feel hopeless in getting any kind of refund other then the company offering me some ribs if they ever get around to it.
Also can’t wait to see the same response that’s copy pasted into every bad review:

Read moreFirst time in a Dick's. Wife had a coupon so we decided to give it a try. We live on the west side so nearest location was the 25. We went in and since we. are not familiar with the menu/combos spent a couple minutes looking before we approached the counter. The three individuals on shift were jobbing pretty hard on orders and we got the "we will be with you in a minute" response. Ordering was pretty straight forward. Noticed one employee touching the POS system with gloves on (assume working with the food) and another touching the same display without gloves on. Employees polite, just very busy. In the time we were there we noticed at least 10 to go orders counting the food delivery services.
While waiting on the food we looked over the place and I went to go wash my hands. The mens room was a bit disheveled. Toilet paper rolls loose on top of empty dispensers and one on the floor. Urinal smelled nasty as if it had not been flushed in a while, paper on the floor. I noticed the women's rest room was out of order so I warned my wife as I knew she would want to wash her hands and would not like the state of the mens room. Noticed the floor was peeling up in a couple places. Looks like location been there a while.
We ordered a pork rib plate and a meat combo plate. Food came out pretty quick.
Pork ribs tasted good with flavor but small serving size. Not warm just room temperature. Some bark on couple pieces to the point where inedible as meat under was dried up. Pulled pork good flavor and moist Chicken very dry inedible. Brisket was good. Fortunately we have dogs who are not as picky so dry food went to good use.
Sides were right proportion for the meal. Rolls not stale but not fresh bland and room temperature Mac cheese good Potatoes ok bland Baked beans good Coleslaw good.

Read moreThis place has such bad customer service, store upkeep, and the quality of most of the food is HORRENDOUS. I only order one item and that is because I am disabled and have a difficult time cooking most of the time and have not been able to find it anywhere else. We don't go into eat as the place is that unclean( tables, floors, BATHROOM,bbq/condiments area, drink station, kitchen area ect...), smelly( THE STENCH from the restroom is smellable thru most of the restaurant), the kitchen staff wear pj's, torn clothes and are generally gossiping amoungst each other and ignoring or RUDE AS FU(K to customers. The orders are late, the meat is tepid at best and beyond dry, the sauce has very little flavour, and the meat portions are underweight, more fat than meat and the sides are atrocious. The portions are adult prices for kids sizes( the cups are less than half full) The ONLY reason I patron this restaurant is the onion tanglers......i/we order the large and pick it up at the door. The seasoning is nice and heavy usually. The onions are thinly sliced and easily eaten when my jaw is sore(tmj from jaw injury years ago). They say food will be ready at x time but be prepared to wait an extra 20 or 30bminutes. The current problem is that despite Google saying they are open phone is not being answered ALL evening 3 days in a row with repeated calls...it rings a dzn times and asks you for a voice-mail authorization number or something like that. When you leave a bad review you get an automatic response to contact them but apparently they don't respond to that either. I'm convinced the good reviews are friends and family or fake accounts from staff trying to combat bad reviews mostly. Lots of what looks like publicity shots ect.
