The only good thing about this place was the server. Had he been bad on top of how bad the food was I would have had a total melt down tonight. There was almost nothing to choose from. No steak. Cold everything. Overheated crusty dry nastiness. On a Sunday at 7:30pm. The salad was surprisingly decent although missing half the stuff they used to have. I swore off Golden Corral a few years ago and compared to tonight a few years ago was great in hindsight. They shut down desserts and salad bar 45 mins before close. They put up the chairs and basically closed an hr early even though there were still 25 people trying to eat the incredibly overheated dried items they called food. We arrived 1.5hrs before close and already there was very little to choose from. The fish was absolutely disgusting and caused gagging just from the smell. Refried beans were dry burnt powder. Taco meat was crispy and burnt with burnt taco shells. The one and only thing that appeared edible was the fresh looking fried chicken. I wasted 55 bucks on a plate of iceberg Lettuce and I know for sure know why I swore this place off a couple years back. Also the Mac and cheese was absolutely gross and over cooked mush. Very disappointed. No chicken fried steak. No chopstick no mushrooms. All cheese and gravies covered with a half inch of skin. Just gross. So disappointed. Taking my family out is hard to do on my limited income and even harder swallow than the nasty food tonight was the waste of what little money I have trying to enjoy a dinner out with my kids. Shame on golden corral. Also, a tip for servers: DO NOT vacuum or sweep or mop around and under a table with customers. I don't carenif those customers are the only ones in your section and youre waiting to leave, don't do it. It's so rude and so gross. That cost my server 2 bucks of his tip tonight even tho otherwise...

The parking lot has a limited number of disabled spots, and during peak hours these are often filled. The extended parking areas require one to walk uphill. While the grade is not harsh, it may present difficulties to those in wheelchairs, power chairs, or using walkers. This location also shares parking with other businesses, so the lot generally appears full.
The dining area has a odd layout, and may not appeal to those for whom such things are important. Also in the words of a diner: "These booths are not fluffy friendly." The flooring is all right, zero pile carpet. It's easy to walk on, and seems to pose little problem for wheelchairs.
The bathrooms are located on the east side of the building, opposite over half of the dining area. To get there, one must walk through the buffet area or a hall before finding the facilities behind a structure that seems to have little other purpose besides hiding the bathrooms. There is a family bathroom, and depending on the time of day, the facilities may or may not be clean enough to use.
While most of the staff seemed friendly, this location lost points due to the quality of food (some timed out); the cleanliness of the bathrooms (messes on the floors); visibility of the bathrooms (not very); pricing; and the walk to and from...
Read moreWell I'm a very understanding person when it comes to restaurants and food service... our waiter while he was very nice he didn't listen and went about closing his station and cleaning to leave and obviously waiting for us to leave... But was more concerned with socializing and cleaning so he could leave. But the dessert area had only one thing that i wanted and came specifically for the purpose of getting some cotton candy. First time i asked i was told 10 minutes so i waited 20 and then the waitress that took over our area came and asked if we were ok i mentioned to her about the cotton candy and after a few more minutes and quite frankly with perfect timing cause almost 30 minutes after I'm done eating she went and had the guy make us some... What is wrong with your dessert old guy he lied to me about how long and then stood around talking to the next shift relief person. I even asked my waiter if there was certain times and he tried to say the machine breaks down allot but i told him the guy told me 10 minutes 15 minutes ago... he just said well then they should be able to make it then and then he went back to cleaning to go home. I wanted to go home too... but not without my cotton candy??? We felt ignored and then pushed off on to the next shift. Not cool at all. I guess I'll have to inconvenience myself and drive to the other side of town and pray i can get satisfaction cause frankly I'm pretty upset with my date night because...
