Food was great, they need to get more high chairs to accommodate parents with babies we have to find them ourselves the servers didn’t think they had any more they just didn’t go look that’s pretty much the only thing I could say about the servers, The one thing I don’t like about what this restaurant does and others around town do is how if you have 8 or more people you automatically get charged I thin’ it was like 20 or 25%, ( the service was good ) but in general I feel like it should be up to the person paying because the service could be terrible but they would still get a tip the whole point in tips is to thank them for doing a good job it should be a have to thing and I was a waitress before but when I worked I did a good job because I wanted to make my customers happy and if I did my job well a good tip was my reward, it gave me something to work hard for and feel proud about but I guess now we are forced to pay a fee even if the service is bad, having a rule like this at restaurants makes me not want to go back to them, I have been in the situation where service was bad and still have to pay (not at this restaurant) but I remember talking to a manager about it and told them that I wasn’t paying it and they still ran my debit card for the tip money (again not this restaurant) so I really wish this restaurant would do away with that rule and make their servers work for the tips things should be rewarded unless worked for, if we keep rewarding people for doing nothing we will always get nothing out of them , just my opinion on the matter. Also so this has nothing to do with the restaurant because they can’t help it but make sure to lock your car doors while your eating because when we ate there a man was going from car to car checking doors and the staff didn’t say or do anything but , Rosie Joes is actually a great place to eat, the food , the service and the staff are great !!!!! definitely go try...
Read moreThe manager offered our group to have meetings at Rosie Jo's. Said they could give us the back room for the smaller meeting and seat us in the back of the restaurant for the larger one, and that it is pretty quiet on Thursday nights. Offered free appetizers as well to get our business. We had two meetings scheduled for the same week. They lost both our reservations and acted like it was anybody's fault but their own. For the first one, they had people sitting in the back room eating crawfish and said they couldn't seat us there until the people left. They finally sat us 45 minutes after our meeting was supposed to start. They did take down the time for the second reservation and assured us it was reserved and not to worry. I called the day of the second meeting and was told they did not have a reservation for us AGAIN! Luckily, someone remembered it and said that they would take care of it. When we arrived, they had our tables set up in the middle of the restaurant with customers seated all around us. We had to yell at each other to conduct our meeting because it was so loud in there and other customers were staring at us. The service was horrible. No appetizers as promised but thats whatever. I had to go to the bar to request water because none was brought to the table and one person actually got up and fixed himself another soda because the server deserted us. The food was subpar. And to top it off, they tacked on a 20% gratuity, assuring they got a tip for their bad service. Their response throughout the whole night when we mentioned what was going on was, "I don't know what to tell you." We had 18 people in attendance at this meeting. All have said they will never return to Rosie Jo's ever again because of this treatment. I personally would not recommend them as they don't seem to care about their...
Read moreHorrible place!!!! Staff and manager needs more training on customer service, time management on preparation for food. Waitress was horrible she kept on telling me every 5 minutes my order will be ready. This went on for over a hour waiting on crawfish. When they were bringing out other 7+platters to other customers that arrived after us. Didn't recieve 2 items that came with my meal the sausage and the sauce. I asked for the sausage several times never recieved it. When waitress brought me my bill I asked her to take $ 3 sausage link off my bill. We had to go refill our own drinks several times and I asked for a to go coke it was never brought to us. So I went fix it myself. No ranch, no romalade sauce, and no to go bags. This was my first and last time coming to this place. Crawfish were as big as my pinky finger and wasnt worth the time I had to wait or money. It's supposed to be all u can eat fried fish, fried shrimp, and boiled shrimp that's a joke too! Because of the long wait to get a second serving. My husband had to eat alone he got his food in 30 mins and I recieved mine 1 hr and 15 mins. He didnt recieve his boiled shrimp with his meal it came way after. He felt bad for eating while I was still waiting for my food. So we just sat there until my food finally came. After several attempts and lies of the waitress that I will be next. Well I was last after all the other platters of crawfish were served to customers that came in way after us. I brought this to waitress attention and she said I know, I'm sorry!!!!??? Plus I asked if the fish tacos were good waitress said no its Swai! What's comes on the platter is swai fish also. SMH!!! If u want quality crawfish in a timely manner it's worth the drive go to Bunkie to Rockys Tails and Shells u will not be disappointed with the service...
