Biggby Coffee — Restaurant in Allen Park

I was looking for a nice place to study and I remembered that this location had a dine-in area. It's been quite some time since I've used the lobby at this location and after my recent experience, I don't have intentions on coming back. To start off, the girl that took my order seemed as if I was a bother when ordering. The girl that actually prepared my drink was fast and efficient. After I was given my order, I turned to look for a table to sit at. All the tables were covered in crumbs and drink stains. The entire lobby just looked dirty. I sat down and luckily I had Lysol wipes in my bag to clean off the table and chair. As I was cleaning the table, I had realized all the crumbs and food under the table on the carpet. I was definitely second guessing my choice at this point. I popped my earbuds in to help me concentrate on my work and through the noise cancelling, I could still hear how loud the staff was being. Nearly 2.5 hours of constant yelling across the kitchen from one to the other. At one point, the store had milk delivered by what I assumed was a delivery service & the delivery service driver took it among themselves to use two chairs from the lobby to prop the doors open. Once they were done with the delivery, the chairs were not put back (not the staffs fault) and cold air was just blowing through the lobby for about a good 20 minutes before an employee finally realized and closed the doors. (It's winter, how did the employees not realize the doors were wide open for that long?) The staff spent most of the time talking and eating when clearly, the lobby needed a good cleaning. Also, this location does not have a public restroom. What food establishment has a dine-in area and no public restroom? By the look of the lobby, I'm sure no one wants to clean the restroom either and that is what led them to make the decision of having a private restroom. It just doesn't make sense. I enjoy BIGGBY coffee but unfortunately, this location left a bad impression on me, I wouldn't recommend this...

Very strange things going on at this bigb coffee shop. I never go inside always through the driver thru and one time I had a sneezing and coughing fit at the menu speaker (I’m photosensitive I can’t control these allergic reactions to the sun that make me sneeze and cough) where you order and when this happened today the day of this review I was refused service do to my medical condition but they wouldn’t tell me why they were refusing me service the lady at the window claimed I make multiple staff uncomfortable . How I only ever go through the drive thru I order the same things and I’m always polite . Could it be the window girls are all Muslim and hate on me for listening to Christian music? Could it really be because I had a sneezing fit at the drive thru speaker? I don’t know the young girl at the window said only I know why she’s refusing me service ! But no I don’t know why ! Is it racism? Well if the owner of the location lets its stand and doesn’t reprimand his staff I’ll make sure to always ask if he owns the franchise cause if he lets it stand I will make sure none of my hard earned money goes to his stores period . Worst experience ever. I arrived at 6:45pm on Sunday September 8th… a sign at the door said they are short staffed therefore lobby is closed. I head around to the window to ask if my son could use the bathroom. My son is 7 years of age who has been holding it and needed to go urgently. I also had intentions of ordering something but the women who I think is the shift manager was extremely rude and ignorant. Would not listen to my request and basically shut the window in my face. I’ve been to this location before and never experienced any issues. But this one time by this one lady who I assume is the shift manager was so rude and had no remorse. Even my son questioned me about her rudeness and I couldn’t even provide him a reason why. The odd thing is they had three members on staff at the moment and yet the lobby is closed with nobody in there or in line through drive thru. I will never go back to this location as long as...
