Pros: Great selection Clean Really kind associate
Cons: Poor management Gift card issues Online to store returns
Today I had to make a return I made on the DSW website. When I got to the store, the associate was extremely friendly and welcoming. When she noticed I had used part of the payment on a gift card and part on my credit card, she needed management to approve the return. The associate asked management if I could have it all back on my credit card and she immediately said no. It would be nice, but I was fine with the gift card credits as long as part of it was back on my card as stated on the machine. She then told me everything returned was going back on the gift card, even more than the original balance of the card. I was shocked, and said I didnât want more than the gift card original amount on there. She hesitated and wasnât really kind to the nice associate either and finally had me swipe my card for an entire over right, which, the associate suggested in the first place.
Overall, clean store, good selection, good associate, poor management style and communication, towards both employees and customers.
Due to this experience, Iâll probably never buy a DSW gift card again and try to find shoes at...

I accidentally misplaced shoes in the wrong box upon check out and you better believe .. the cashier let me have it⊠I apologized profusely.. actually went to retrieve the correct shoe box (because sheâd stopped helping me) and then gave me a blank stare⊠At which point , I asked âwhatâs the matter with youâ? She quickly fixed the nasty attitude..and instructed one of her sales associate to find the missing shoe.. murmuring to the associate âyeah..so we wonât be here all nightâ!! (âŠYeah, I assume she was the supervisor..wearing braids and had very full lips, no name tag). Really? Maâam please take a vacation.. My mom and I have been coming to this location for years ..and itâs sad that this will be my last year. Quality Customer service should be mandatory!!!
Ps: Mom and I spent over 100$ and couldnât even get our items bagged. Cashier shares, âoh we out of bagsâ! Thank you for this amazing shopping experience. But, patience , grace and a smiles goes along way.. You just may...
   Read moreThe only retailer that survived the pandemic and still seems to be overpriced. If shopping with teens or solo be prepared to be watched and followed through out the store. Not a single person greeted me or asked if I needed assistance. Only a left shoes in boxes for high priced items đ. Sensors on the display shoe. The feel was very much prison factory, wouldn't recommend this store to my enemy. Offered magical spray for my son's shoes that will protect it but not guaranteed at the modest price of 8.99 đĄ. Refused service because it was useless. Strange email verification so if you think about giving a false one it won't work. Steer clear of this place...
