Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Allen Park

Where do I start? The employees at Coldstone probably wish they never see me again. I was in a group of 5 people. There were 4 people working. We got told 3 times by 3 different people that "one of them" will help you. I asked what they are trying to say and did they want us to move over or something. My attitude started at that moment. The woman said yes and crowded another group in next to us. If they all worked together on our icecream, they could have gotten us out of the way. We are supposed to be practicing social distancing. They left one inexperienced employee to handle us. I'm not saying he was the only inexperienced one. They were all messing orders up left and right. In my opinion, no one wanted to handle a group of 5. We get to ordering and the guy helping has to do things one by one, so our icecream was melting as we were waiting. We get to mine and I thought maybe I should order simple and my brother encouraged me to get what I wanted. I ordered the Surrender to Strawberry. The guy started to make it. I knew something wasn't right when he started adding caramel. I don't like caramel, and I didn't see caramel in the picture. Where was my cream? When he handed it to me, I asked, "What is this?" in a stern tone. "Surrender to Strawberry", he said. I stood there and watched the worker next to him make it.(by the way, if you are reading this, SHAME ON YOU for leaving that very inexperienced man to serve us.) What he was making looked more like the picture with no caramel. I asked "what is that?". Our guy said it was Strawberry Blonde. I said, "uh uh! Sir! What is that?" The guy making it next to him said, "Surrender to Strawberry." I had to yell at our helper for him to make it again. All of my anger went towards him but trust me the other 3, you deserved most of it. I am upset with our guy for touching the shields with my cone and not changing the cone. I didn't even eat it. He also kept touching his mask and, when he had it on, his nose was sticking out. You all are the worst employees. Where is the person managing y'all? No one needs to be promoted to anything because no one wants to make the other one better. I bet if our person knew, he would help you all. Sorry to you for giving you the brunt of the anger...even though you made a few common sense mistakes. When we got to the car, the soup dripped all over my nieces. 🤦Worst...

Let me start by saying I love cold stone and generally go here for birthday cakes for family and friends. I've been going to this location on Allen Park since it's been open. Every time I go to this location I leave mad. This past Saturday I walk in go to the cooler grab a cake. I go to the register in the only one standing there. I see a couple people in line getting scoops of ice cream. I notice one worker helping the line and 3 to 4 others basically just chilling and talking. No one ever acknowledges me . So as I'm waiting I grab some candles. Finally a girl comes to the register and says nothing but starts ringing things up. So I look at the cashier confused, she then proceeds with a total that's not mine but actually soneonr finishing up their ice cream order in line. So I proceed to say ice been standing here for 10 minutes. Her response was so. She rings up the customer and we wait for them to come to the register. The customer congress to the register and ask why I wasn't rung up first since I had been waiting and the cashier ignores the question. This place is horrible and I don't know why they would hire staff with no customer service skills. I'm definitely not returning to this location again. There is a cold stone in Warren which is a nice little hike from where I live, but the staff is amazing they offer to wrote happy Birthday on the cake for you. The staff is amazing and very personable. It's worth the drive. Honestly the Allen Park location should consider a field trip to eastern so they can learn how to do their jobs correctly. I have been going to coldstones for well over 15 years and sad to say I do not give them anymore recommendations. In April I ordered 5 ice creams from them online and only 3 was delivered. One was still wrong. I contacted the store and they wanted to give me a credit even for the ones that I did not receive. I declined it and it was told to contact doordash. Once I contacted your dash they told me that it was the store that would refund it and they contacted the store and was telling and I was told that they were going to give me a full refund and never got it. I called doordash back a few days later probably about a week later and was told that they will call them again contact them couldn't get nobody at the store and contacted the complaint line and was told to that a form was completed and I received the email stating that I will receive a email confirmation of the complaint for the refund. I received the email but still hadn't received a refund. We are now into May and I have contacted them myself three times could not get a supervisor and still have not had anyone return a call to me. I have reported them to the BBB and they still haven't heard anything. This was $40 worth of ice cream for my kids and they are refusing or ignoring me and not wanting to get me my refund.
