This was my 3rd time coming here in a year. The first 2 times were almost a year or longer and my gosh the downfall on this place is insane 😳 My eggrolls were cooked so crispy it was like eating a greasy fortune cookie... The cheeseburger egg rolls used to be so good they were almost better than Steak but this time they were completely cheap , dry, unseasoned and had absolutely NO cheese so just imagine eating a plain hamburger egg roll with no flavor - i didn't finish it The steak was $4 dollars more and had slightly more flavor barely any cheese either and the egg rolls was overcooked. They've been out of Kool aid everytime I went 😑 and the service was horrible they accused my friend of lying about an order he just placed not even 10 min before all because he threw out his receipt (understandable but the immediate assumption that he was lying wasn't right and they tried to laugh it off) the energy inside of there was extremely dead and tbh it's sad to see i bragged about this place the whole drive from Ohio and not only did my friend not enjoy it I didnt either. The pizza egg roll was like a pizza Lunchable put inside an egg roll very cheap and poor quality and all of these first 3 egg rolls are in comparison to my previous visits I've had them all before. My friend got the salmon and lamb chops he said they were fine but had his egg rolls overcooked as well. Overall, this place has done a complete 180 within a year or so. All quality diminished significantly, food product has changed or gotten worse, and the service was very mid... My first two times I would give this place an 8/9 out of 10 but this time my score dropped to a 4 or 5 out of 10 which is unfortunate because I loved this place and was taking a drive from at least an hour away to eat there but I can't say I'll be back or care to give them another shot. The experience was just so bad this time I don't feel its necessary. Also they were out of other products as well which I didnt nag too much because it happens. Before id recommend this place to everyone after my recent experience this will be my last time talking about this place 🤦🏽♂️ i feel bad I have to leave this review but I'm just being honest with my feedback for others...
Read moreWalked in 20 mins after opening and the lady up front greeted us right away and was very nice. Took us a few minutes to decide as it was our first time here. We ultimately went with Chicken Alfredo, honey bourbon chicken and the steak and cheese. We tried to order the peach cobbler egg roll but at the time they did not have any available. Food came out quick and hot! My husband enjoyed his steak and cheese. He said the steak was flavorful and his roll was packed w/ it. He would have liked a more flavorful cheese option inside but overall a solid roll. My first bite I was thrown off due to what I believe is a garlic butter or sauce of some sort that they top each roll with. I was not expecting that and they flavor over powered everything. I'm a garlic and a butter fan, but did not enjoy it on these rolls. The chicken Alfredo was not my favorite but I think I was just thrown off by the garlic butter sauce. The filling was packed with meat and veggies, a little less of those items and a little more creaminess and this would have been perfection (minus the garlic butter). The bourbon chicken was good, again the garlic/butter sauce was overpowering and a thinker bourbon honey sauce inside would have set this off, but I enjoyed this more then my other and actually finished it off with my husbands help. But this place gets a solid 4 out 5 on service alone. As we were getting up to leave the lady at the front called over to us asking if we'd still like to order a peach cobbler roll. She had rolled one up for us and would get it prepared for us if so. Of course we indulged and right away said yes! This was the star of the show! The icing they too the dessert rolls with is smooth and sweet. It's the perfect offset of the slightly salty dough and the filling was hot and well balanced in fruit/sauce. Our only regret was not getting the ice cream on the side! Over all I would return to try about 10 other kinds, I'd just ask them to leave off the garlic/butter sauce. Rolls were all huge, dough was fried to perfection and I liked the flavor of it. Great service and clean facilities. Definitely...
Read moreOkay so my hunny showed me this place on the internet and I just had to try it. Neither of us eat meat so we went to try the salmon roll and the veggie habichi roll. We also decided to grab some for the kids. Upon arrival it was packed, when I finally got to Register the cashier was nice but they didn't have like four different rolls including the one I just stood in line for ( salmon). So I still got me and my hunny the veggie habichi rolls and the kids had chicken and corned beef. It was about a 35 min wait for the food, when I came back in to get my food, the were selling the salmon rolls, so anxious to try it, I ordered two of those. The kids loved the chicken roll and the loved the corned beef roll, but me and my hunny were truly disappointed by the habichi veggie roll. It had too much rice and it was like eating fried rice from a Chinese restaurant in an egg roll. I was expecting wayyyyy for fresh veggies, and wayyyyy less rice, ( after all it is called a veggie habichi roll) then we got our hands on the salmon rolls, I took one bite and threw it away, it lacked flavor again me or my hunny don't eat land animals so we know good seafood, this was not it. The salmon tasted oily and had no seasoning at all, if you ever had unseasonably salmon you know it's HORRIBLE the spinach and cheese couldnt be focused on because the salmon was gross. I brought about 9 rolls all together, for me my hunny and the kiddies and I spent over 100$. Bigger does not always mean better! Oh I also had a slice of superman cake, it was gross as well, it smelled and tasted nasty. This is my honest opinion, I'll never eat there again even if someone else buys it, it's a hard NO for me! I'll make some salmon egg rolls at home so I know it's seasoned and cooked...
